The Amble Inn

Very nice inside plenty of tables great choices for food and drink and friendly staff. Dogs are allowed and there are a few quiet corners to sit with them if that's a concern like mine. Plenty of parking and worth a visit.

We called in here for lunch on the way up the coast to Alnwick and was very impressed. The building is a lovely old style pub/restaurant with a local feel to it. The menu options were good with options to suit everyone and with a local feel to it with obviously fresh produce from the local area. The kids menu was incredible with options most kids will enjoy and beyond simple chicken nuggets and chips most places offer. Add to that the prices and you cannot complain, some of the lunch time light bits are as little as £6 ranging to £10 which for this quality is a very good price. There is a nice little playground for the children to enjoy and a lovely outdoor seating area for when the weather is good which is more often than many people think. Because of its location on the coast and the possibility of getting to a lot of lovely places to visit it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Called in for a meal on a Friday evening. Looked busy but there were tables available, we were told to sit anywhere that wasn't reserved.The only table available was dirty, the floor under the table had food all over it and the seat was stained. We were going to get a drink while we decided what to order but the queue for the bar was at least 10 deep. We spent about 10 mins thinking about whether to stay or not and the queue didn't go down! Not a very relaxing environment sitting at a dirty table contemplating how long we would have to queue so we decided to leave. Disappointing!

I had a great time eating delicious food at this restaurant. Ben the assistant manager looked after us and gave us great service and was very friendly. He made some great recommendations. Will be back as great service is hard to find

This is quite a newly built hotel and a change from some of the others in need of an update! The rooms are a decent size and very clean. The restaurant and bar I liked, a wide selection of drinks and a decent menu. The hotel is located to the south of Amble and less than a mile from the harbour, probably a 20 minute walk away but I was lazy and drove!There is a Morrisons supermarket and a filling station next door and the Coastal route isn’t far away.Overall it’s a nice clean modern hotel, well situated with friendly and welcoming staff.

Welcoming staff member, did look very nice for a evening, nice place .Disappointed with the food , find a bones in my calamari, and my grill meal plate was very disappointing, I didn't see passion in a plate sad looking plate , I try all the meat of it , steak was tuff , poor quality, blind I send my plate back to the kitchen .Would go back for pint but not for food.

The Amble Inn is a modern hotel and pub on the outskirts of town. The hotel rooms are well appointed and dog friendly and the food in the pub is great. This would have been a five star review except for the fact that, although there were two hand pumps, no real ales were available which was a disappointment

Decided spur of the moment to have Sunday lunch, we were not disappointed. Huge portions everything fresh and served hot.Staff were very friendly and attentive.Definitely will be back.

Couldn’t fault this place at all. It’s in a great location for exploring the exquisite Northumberland coast. The rooms are huge, very clean and well furnished. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pub itself is very nice and the food was great. Breakfast was included which was a buffet style with continental options too.And as always the best part for me was how dog friendly they are. Pups are allowed in two large areas of the pub and the beer garden, and there is even a doggy food menu.We’re already looking at the other hotels in their chain to book again soon.

Lovely pub in Amble, clearly had lots of work put in and the Sunday carvery is delicious. Have heard the rooms are really gorgeous as well. Fab!
