I rented a flat from Winkworth Harrow. After living in a flat at Kirkfield House for a few months, I was dismayed to discover significant issues with pests, including mouse droppings, cockroaches, and silverfish infestations. My attempts to address these concerns were met with a level of inefficiency and negligence that I find truly unacceptable.It took an inordinate amount of time for Vishal and Vikesh to arrange for pest control to address the issue. Moreover, during the second scheduled fumigation appointment, pest control failed to appear. The reason behind this oversight was later revealed to be the agency's failure to meet its financial obligations promptly, resulting in a lack of timely payment to the service provider. Consequently, I was forced to endure living in a pest-infested environment for an extended period, all while continuing to pay rent.Regrettably, my situation escalated to the point where I had to secure alternative housing on extremely short notice due to the agency's inability to rectify the problem effectively. Despite the clearly uninhabitable condition of the flat for a substantial period, Kamal adamantly refused to consider reimbursing me for the two months of rent during which I could not reside in the premises.In addition to the distressing living conditions, I must also highlight the profoundly disrespectful treatment I received from Vishal, Vikesh, and Kamal throughout this ordeal. Their lack of professionalism and accountability only exacerbated the already frustrating situation.Based on my dismal experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Winkworth to anyone seeking a rental, let alone considering them for property purchase or sale. I implore prospective clients to explore alternative letting agencies in the area, as Winkworth has proven to be an unreliable and unsatisfactory choice.
