Hands down the best 0⃣ waste shop I have encountered so far. Carl and Paulina are such lovely people who went above and beyond trying to help, from sourcing organic oat milk to veg boxes and deliveries in the middle of nowhere to our narrowboat - more than once they were absolute lifesavers. I'm so looking forward coming back to the area and getting my weekly dose of L&L straight to our door. Thanks so much guys and hope to see you again soon!

This is a fantastic asset for Marple. I go at least once a week. It's a plastic free refill and sustainable products shop, with an impressive range of food and household products available. My first assumption was that items would cost more here than in supermarkets, but I always leave surprised at the exceptional value of what I buy. They also have a great rewards scheme which allows you to collect rewards the more you spend with them which can then be translated to a mixture of goods and environmental good deeds. The owners are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. There is also a conference space for hire above the shop, which we haven't tried, but gets good use! I would highly recommend Lentils and Lather!

Great refill shop in Marple making plastic free shopping an easy choice. They have many quality dried food items, you just buy the amount you need meaning less food wastage. They stock a good range of household and personal care products. Not to mention yummy treats! It’s reassuring knowing that someone else has done the hard work in finding ethical suppliers. Well worth a visit (make it a regular thing, they offer a loyalty scheme) and if that’s not possible then they offer a delivery service by sustainable transport!

Lovely little shop, really friendly owner. They have everything there, for example dried fruit, flour, spices, nuts…. Just take what you need. Even cleaning products. Very reasonable prices and good quality! X

Knowledgeable staff with a warm welcome. A reasonable range of eco and ethical products and anything they don't have they can probably get in as they have another shop with a broader range. Forgotten your containers? No problem, they have some available free! Prices are comparable with similar types of store. Hopefully this place with thrive and expand.

Brilliant shop, stocking all your essentials and some amazing eco friendly brands.I save so much plastic by shopping here and the prices are very reasonable. Staff are also super friendly and very helpful.

Fabulous range of products, very reasonably priced and obviously the ethical element is a bonus. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, will definitely be my go to for staples, spices, etc going forward.

I've used a hot desk at the Marple shop a couple of times now and it's always calm and free from distractions. The staff are really welcoming and always make me feel right at home. The coffee is delicious and there's plenty of tasty food and snacks in the shop to see you through the day!
