Great mexican restaurant with cool decor, basement bar and good house cocktails. Highly recommend the buttermilk chicken tacos as they were fantastic.Restaurant has small main seated area upstairs and they also serve food down in the basement as when we arrived it was full. It gets noisy later in the evening as duh its a bar and there is alcohol flowing and unlimited prosecco for 2 hours turns most people loud. Its a fun atmosphere and I enjoyed having dinner downstairs.The steak tacos have a kick and hot really does mean hot. As for the house cocktails the Dune Bug is awesome and comes in a cool totem pole mug. Staff are all great and will definately be back to try more.

What a lovely surprise. This is the first time we have been here and I must say how impressed we were. The service was friendly and our food came out so quick! The food was soo good, the taste was impeccable. Their cocktails so so good. Looks like we found our new favourite restaurant.

Booked a table for 5 at half 7 on Friday night. Got there and the restaurant was closed. Had to then wander round Hertford trying to find another restaurant that wasn't fully booked and was taking walk-ins.Had no contact info as their website is under construction, and the opening hours on Google are wrong. Not sure if restaurant has closed down or has been taken over, but probably shouldn't be taking bookings through OpenTable if you aren't open.

We had the pork tostadas (photo) - very generous portion good flavour, deep fried chillies were excellent. Buttermilk chicken wings not too spicy, fine but not amazing. Chicken burrito was a good size, well made. Cocktails were strong and good variety. Staff were friendly and attentive, nice atmosphere, would recommend

Great Mexican food. Interesting menu, generous portions, tasty & attractively presented.Fun, stylish decor & inviting atmosphere.The staff are very friendly & welcoming. Food & cocktails upstairs, bar/restaurant downstairs that turns to a club over weekends

Great Mexican restaurant in Hertford, quite a small, which is nice but can mean it can be busy. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the local area much better than 'the Mexican'
