Brixton Krav Maga - FEKM
Excellent. I went to the 2 hour intro course. Very well structured evening, fast paced, rapid learning & application of skills, super friendly but very serious at the same time. A good mix of total newbies and more experienced through to highly skilled people who were all very generous and helpful with the first timers!Update: I’m now two months in and can happily report that I’m probably the fittest I’ve ever been in my life and despite being a basically non sporty person, this is the first time I’ve ever felt encouraged and empowered. Do it!

I trained as a yellow belt in Simon’s class for a couple years and it’s nothing short of brilliant. I needed to demonstrate a fight reel for stunt acting and Simon kindly took time out to choreograph multiple fight sequences trained me and helped with all the filming. He’s not only an incredible instructor but brilliantly patient in taking time to boost my confidence and push me to achieve more than I initially thought myself capable of. His classes make you feel strong, safe and teach you amazing muscle memory in defence. You couldn’t find a better place to train at any level.

I went for an introduction session and had a great time. Really interesting what I learnt in the 2 hours, and we got straight into some very useful defense techniques. Sadly I am leaving London otherwise I would have definitely signed up to weekly classes. Simon is a fantastic teacher, and all the current students were a great help too.

Nothing brings me more joy than kicking some groins and stabbing my colleagues (except puppies and kittens and animals in general, but apart from that, Krav). Practical and clear classes, accessible prices, friendly instructors & kravists.Diverse, bringing people from all around the world together, helping each other to exceed our own expectations - club that is proud to see us advancing & growing as we grow with them.A place to feel welcomed and improve our physical, mental and emotional health & strength.It gives us the confidence we need - whether for a day to day situation or for an actual confrontation.Best choice ever.

This was a really great intro class. Simon was very knowledgeable and the other Assistant Instructors and students were very friendly. I learned a lot in that first session and will be intrigued to learn some more! Definitely recommend.

Brixton Krav Maga - FEKM
Really enjoyed my experience at Brixton Krav Maga - only regret not getting to the classes more often before leaving London. They get you to work hard, but Simon and the other instructors are friendly, clear and immeasurably patient and understanding. Before going, I'd felt intimidated by the idea of martial arts/self-defence, but there's a great mix of people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and experience levels, which, along with the welcoming instructors, really helps to create classes that feel inclusive and welcoming.

I only started a few months ago and have seen a huge improvement in motor skills and coordination. I find the classes really fun and intensive. I feel more confident walking around at night on my own as I can now react better to a dangerous situation than before. I would definitely recommend to anyone no matter age or physical ability.

This club is run how all martial arts/self-defence classes should be run. Simon is friendly, good fun, and a great teacher. Beginners get focused tuition and are instantly made to feel welcome. The classes are varied and challenging. Krav Maga seems very practical and effective - everything is grounded in real-life scenarios. I can recommend the classes without hesitation.

Would definitely recommend signing up to Krav Maga classes in Brixton! Learned some valuable self-defence techniques over the last few months. Simon and co were very helpful and good teachers, plus the class is always good fun to attend and the people were easy to get along with.

Simon and his team are great motivators and teachers. There's something for everyone here; hard hitters, polite punchers and charming conversationalists. Great intro to self-defence, especially if you're not in the best shape to begin with.
