Sherborne Wharf Ltd

Booked a ride on the canal barge at Sherborne Wharf, was an interesting tour of Birmingham canals the tour is pretty much automated, and lasts about 65 minutes. There is a bar on board to where you can purchase soft drinks and alcohol tea and coffee. Was a nice little day out.

Hired 2 boats for 2 hour cruise fish chips and gluten free and vegetarians x4 months in the planning and preparation15 .00 for fish chips !Plus the extra cruisesTotal chaos ! Whilst the staff were lovely they didn’t count and check every one had received their fish chips x They left the pier started and then we had to pull over again wait 25 minutes for the rest of the fish chips to come x then that was even wrong short again and had to wait again .So instead of cruising the canals for 2 hours we had to stop for half hour xFinally most of the chips were cold and sadly ruined our day !After a rather stressful conversation the owners agreed to only provide 50 % of us with a free drink!Summarise do the cruise never order any food ! It was chaos from the chippy and the boat management!

Chatted with the very knowledgeable local crew before heading off, then had local details added over and above the recorded commentary. Very enjoyable experience and highly recommended. Great crew.

Mal servicio, mal trato y un tour que realmente no es muy agradabable. Poco para ver, el agua de los canales es inmunda con basura y no respetaron el precio publicado en internet con un paquete para familias (2adultos mas 2 hijos). Realmente no lo recomiendo

A good trip along the canal which lasts about 65 minutes. There is a recorded commentary which gives some good information about Birmingham. There are also refreshments and a toilet on board.

Boat trip was nice, half surprised it turned up after reading some reviews. It was lovely to see the canal further down. Very old boat, needs refurb!! Very loud commentary. The taped ones I always find annoying. Would be much nice to have live commentary

I've been using Sherborne Wharf's boat facilities fot many years and well before they moved to their present site on the Main Line.Today, great service, great cheery banter, a pleasure even if fuel was a tad pricey. A pleasure. See you in May next year.

Great narrowboat cruises boat hour trips and a little waterbus for half hour trips in and around Birmingham.Great party hire boats for hen parties etc, offering food and music..staff are amazing to give you memorable times

Pleasant one hour cruise with very clear recorded commentary. Not easy to find boarding point. I have tried to correct Google Maps. Better to search for Brindley Cruises, as boarding point is just the other side of the canal from there.
