The staff were no help at all and cause problems for when I was just trying to buy a pair of socks. They took the football I was trying to buy of me and then kicked me out of the store! Horrible place and terrible staff

Products are ok, but customer service is appalling! Bought a suitcase, it had lots of stickers/prices on it. The girl at the counter made no effort to take them off, expected me to, didn't even offer a bag.Useless. Bad attitude...

Hi fellow Southenders!Just a word of warning to avoid Sports Direct on Southend High Street.I was in store today with my 3-year-old son and following me making a minor valid complaint about being incorrectly charged twice for the same purchase, the Shop Floor Supervisor (blonde, moderately overweight woman) proceeded to verbally abuse and intimidate my son and I, so badly that on leaving the store he broke down in tears.The fellow Sports Direct staff approached us to ask if my son was OK and also took my side when the Shop Floor Manager incorrectly claimed that I swore and was verbally abusive to her.The Assistant Store Manager was actually very apologetic and helped to advise on the best route to complain but I don’t think a retailer on our high street deserves any business for speaking to customers in the way we were spoken to, especially when it upsets our children in the way today did.On the contrary, I attended Sports Direct at Southend Airport yesterday and the staff couldn’t have been more polite, personable and helpful.

Really bad customer service, don't return items even if still package and there online prices are different from in store. Really bad experience would definitely not recommend to anyone.

Very unhelpful staff; I went in for shoe hunting yesterday evening; there was one lady sitting and trying to look busy; other one quiet rude, Got very basic reply like yes or no. Poor customer service. No training given to staff by management; Frustrated angry employees I guess! Would avoid going herefter

Located at southend high street ,always find good prices in there ,also the staff is very helpfull ,there were gel sanitiser at the entrance , signs reminding the social distancing rules etc etc , the store is about 5 minuts walk from southend central c2c train station .Hope this review be helpfull .

Sports direct staff in store are alright but if you have a problem and go to their customers service they are not helpful at all. They couldn’t be bothered to help me they just keep saying the same thing I don’t think I will bother shopping with them anymore if they treat people without trying to find a solution.

A message to Tyler who was absolutely amazing to myself, sister and nephew this afternoon when looking for black trainers for school. Thank you so much for your help and advice, you went above and beyond, in and out of the stockroom and when we kept thanking you for all the time you spent with us, all you said was that you were happy to hang around and help. We got lucky we found you to help us. Spoke to Ryan, one of the Managers about you who informed it was only your third shift so, Tyler, you're a superstar and a genuinely nice guy, hoping you'll get some sort of recognition from the Managers.
