Had dinner at the torres restaurant tonight . Was absolutely beautiful! I cannot compliment this food or service enough! Every dish was cooked to perfectionMy favourites being the pollo (chicken) croquettes, chicken fajitas amd chorizo in red wine . The other dishes were a very close 2nd. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a feel of real Spanish cuisine. 10/10..... 5 *

Had a great wee night in torres last night when we were visiting friends in glasgow. We booked a table for 6pm so the restaurant was quite quiet and we got amazing service. Im sure it would have been the same if it had been busy. Food was great. You need to try the gambas pel pel (I think ive spelled that right).

Torres Tapas is a delightful little Spanish restaurant situated at 327 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow, Lanarkshire G2 3HW. It is full of the friendliest staff your will find in a restaurant in such a busy area. It is always full of lively music that always fills you with that Spanish feel. The food is cooked by a Spanish chef who spent most of his life in Spain learning to cook the authentic Spanish food that there is to indulge there. My personal favourite dish is the calamari rings that just bring you to Spain. All the dishes are handmade on site, fresh to order so you know that the food is going to be fresh and fantástico. As soon as you walk in the building you get a waft of the delicious aroma of garlic and fresh bread that just sets the standards high. Everywhere is very clean and where ever you look you can see there is no mess. Also when you have finish they don’t leave you sitting in a pile of dirty plates they come and clear them pretty fast. The toilets are in good condition and even had the nice little touch of matching soap and hand cream. All in all it is very hygienic. The price of the food is reasonable as it is freshly made. You do not have to pay to make a booking nor do you have to make a deposit. It’s about £3-£4 per dish and you need about three each, although when we went we bought about 10 and just shared (that’s about enough for 4 people.)The customer service is very good and the waitress was very friendly to me and my sister talked to us and taught us some Spanish. They are very patient as we took some time to decide what we wanted and they were quite ok with that. They are also always happy to help and if you need something else after the first order they don’t mind doing it, not like other restaurants that I have been to. Basically the staff are so welcoming and make you feel like you belong there. All in all I think that this is an amazing, family friendly restaurant that you should definitely pay a visit to if you are in the area, especially if you have been to Spain and miss the amazing food and atmosphere. I would give Torres Tapas 5 stars.

Lovely little restaurant with a great ambiance. The Staff are friendly and eager to accommodate you without being overbearing. The Food was sublime and the portion sizes, considering it was tapas, surprisingly large.I'm just about to book a table there again and if you haven't tried it, you should.

The service ok, atmosphere very nice although nothing special. Good prices, my paella was fine, I didn't like the coffee but it's a restaurant, not a cafe so I can't complain. Good place if you want to try Spanish food and don't overpay.

Handy if going to a gig at O2 ABC. Friendly staff, efficient service - but average quality & not particularly authentic tapas - bit disappointing. (Head further west of centre for better quality & better value food).
