Five Star Nails

Absolutely rubbish service. Went there to get my nails and showed a picture of what I wanted but they failed to deliver it and when I challenged it, they started justifying themselves. There is a brunette British nail tech, please avoid her at all costs, has no idea what she’s doing and only throws an attitude (and only talk but no skills), literally ruined my nails. Then an Asian male came over to fix her mistakes. Wonder how she’s even allowed to work there as had another customer after me who didn’t like her work as well. Avoid at all cost, there are better ones on the same road.

I called this nail shop and I asked if they have appointments for 4pm as I would be coming in my lunch break. They said yes. I then said again, would I be seen at that time I as I need to get back to work at 5pm. The man said yes. I arrived at 4pm no acknowledgment and they didn’t have me booked in the diary. I have had to leave without getting my nails done when I could have just gone to a different nail shop. People are busy! This is so inconsiderate and I will not be coming here again.

(NOT EVEN WORTH THE ONE STAR I HAVE GIVEN) I have always attended this nail shop since I began getting my nails done. It has gone down hill completely. The staff are not attentive and have poor customer service. I came a days ago to get shellac French tips done. The guy that was doing them at first was taking his time and was hurting my nails as he was buffing the acrylics down and filing them. Soon after the manager comes and tells him to work on someone else leaving me alone for 2-5 mins. The manager starts to work on my nails, paying poor attention to the way the last guy did the white tips on my last two nails. He continued to do my nails each white tip was at different lengths. He kept getting up and going to other clients and each time he came to me I asked him to sort each nail and make them equal (I did this several times). I did not like the size of the white tips at all - leaving me disappointed and unwilling to come back.

The amount of times I’ve been there , every time different design . The prices are fair , every 6th visit is half price .Unfortunately hard with parking , location is good. Waiting times can be from straight away to like hour and half depending on how busy it is .

First time experience at Five star Nails with Lisa, it was an absolute pleasure. She has been very attentive and was extremely respectful, being gentle and professional along with taking good care of my nails on the process of having acrylics on my hands, where I have usually found nail technicians to be quite rough.The pedicure seating was great, able to relax on the massage chair and get a really good treatment.Highly recommend lisa and the team.

Amazing nails every time.Tony and Vanessa always take time, conversation flows and they are very welcoming.Salon always clean and tidy aswell which is important when I choose my salon.10/10 recommend. Will be back.

This place was local and convenient but doesn’t believe in good customer service or effective communication. People pay with their hard earned money and they seem to think they’re doing us a favour. The prices are always charged different each time you come and they make you wait especially during the day when I’ve come on a lunch break is simply unacceptable and there’s no apology for it either. Really need to start finding another place nearby now can return after this one, can’t keep wasting my money like this and not get the right quality or service.

Came with a friend to get a set of acrylic nails, and was met with a lovely nail technician, Cindy. She was absolutely lovely and welcoming she ensured all the needs were met when it came to the nail design. She managed to replicate the exact same design which was shown to her and was very accommodating throughout. Cindy was a fantastic nail tech and would 100% go to her again for my next nail design!! x

Literally 5 star nails!! They eat my nails up everytime! Staff are so nice and always make sure you know exactly what you’re getting. My go to place for nails for good quality service and nails and for a good price too.
