I’ve visited Havin multiple times (dine in and take away). There are cheaper Turkish restaurants in St Albans but the money spent at Havin is 100% worth it. The chicken and lamb is always cooked to perfection - so juicy and tender. Their starter dips are delicious and baklava is one of the best I’ve had. Even their side salad is tasty. Money well spent for very very good food. I now never venture to any other Turkish restaurant when dining in St Albans. Also stunning modern decor

The quality of food is much lower than other Turkish restaurants but prices much higher. Portion of chips is just a small cup of chips , for 4.50£.The chicken meat was not the best quality too. On top of everything there is a service charge more than 5 pounds which is ridiculous. People should decide whether to leave a tip. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

My third visit to Havin, but this time this was late afternoon, early evening rather than late evening. There were a few tables here and whilst we were there the whole ABBA 'Voyage' album was playing in the background which was slightly unusual - one of the staff must have been a big fan!Anyway, on to the food itself. We had a few mixed starters. All were absolutely delicious, but the standout was the goats cheese. Extremely light and flavoursome with a lovely strawberry pepper sauce! Try it - it was amazing! We then had a lamb and chicken shish each. They were so tender served with a nice portion of rice, all washed down with the perfect Turkish beer, EFES.Finished off with a nicely balanced lemon and lime cheesecake. Not too sweet and very very light.The staff, as always, were incredibly smiley and attentive, and the service was amazing. Not sure how much it was at it was birthday treat. But price wise, it is very good value for money.

If you are looking for a Turkish feast then this is your go to restaurant. Everything about this place is just amazing.I have visited here many times and I have to say by far it’s at the top of my list of places to eat.The food is just exceptional it literally just melts in your mouth the taste of everything I have tried is just something else I’ve never tasted food like it, it goes above every time.The service also makes the visit pleasant the staff are alwayswelcoming and polite. They interact with their customers and have a great knowledge of the menu as there is so much choice and I always struggle to decide what to eat.Definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.Great value for money.

Perfect food taste and testure with excellent presentation.It was bit cramp and tight spaced (sitting wise) however tast of food is breathe taking. Make us over look tight sitting arrangements.Will definitely visit again.

The best Turkish restaurant in the town and even miles away I can’t find place like this.. the decor is absolutely stunning the restaurant well presented, very clean and sparkly. The service is just amazing,the servers are really nice and friendly giving you the most attention is possible, and they having friendly conversations with the customers ,make you feel like special. The food is absolutely No 1. The meat is the best quality, you really can taste the difference and definitely cooked with love. There’s no other place to be ,if you wanna have the best Turkish food experience doesn’t matter how far you live is worth to try it..

Lamb shank is so tender, the meat easily fall off from the bone with mash potatoes under is perfectly eat with all the meat juice and sauce!Mixed grill is so favorable! Got lots of different meat like lamb pork chicken with different way of marinated herbs and favor. Plus salad at a side balance the whole dish with less greasy and easier to digest.We ordered a jug of house Red, it is very good pairing with all the meat food!Tried the Turkish coffee with a Turkish delight, very good to end in the meal!Service is good, taking care of all we need.
