Good range of real ales from Kent, kept in excellent condition (else they'll stop serving it). Knowledgeable and friendly staff, a good relaxed atmosphere for a drink. Always good to discover a new beer you've never had before.

Great selection of beers - mostly Kent based. We were in there on a Friday afternoon and the pub was pretty busy. The prices are very reasonable and the beer was excellent and well kept. Would certainly visit again.

If you desire decent Ales and Ciders then look no further and decently priced as well.Such a major plus to have such a decent pub in my village that also doesn't have that feeling of corporate greed you can get in brewery owned pubs.The owner and bar staff are more than willing to have a chat if they have the time and what's more... the conversations are interesting, intriguing and intelligent.

The Real Ale Way
A cracking micro-pub with a choice, usually of around at least 8 Kentish beers, at perfect temperature and always good quality. Nice friendly staff in this family owned business.
