Words cannot describe the service I received this morning, however, I will do my best. Stepping off the train at Windsor I realised there was an issue with my chain. Step forward The Bike Company. On entering the store I was greeted by a long haired gentleman who clearly knew his bikes - he took one look at my chain and diagnosed the issue in seconds. In a flash, he hoisted my bike onto his rack and began his work, fingers moving like Mozart’s on the piano, until the problem was fixed. How much do I owe you? I asked - just bring a pack of biscuits in - he said. I never did bring those biscuits. 10/10 would recommend.

I really like the bike company. I bought a bike from them years ago and they were great. More recently they have been doing some maintenance for me. They regularly go the extra mile to get things right. Recommended.

EDIT - Been using BCW for 6 or 7 years now and they remain a superb, friendly and professional outfit for bike servicing and repairs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!Original review text from 2016 for completeness: Enthusiastic & friendly staff, efficient and professional service. Nothing to fault and I would highly recommend this company. For ref I used BCW for servicing an Argon18 road bike and have bought kit from them. Cheers

Lovely staff - had an issue with bikes 50k into ride. They did everything to help and are very knowledgeable. Good selection of bikes and accessories. It's definitely a great bike shop!

I think the sign of good company is how they respond when there is an issue. Following replacement of shifters and callipers on my road bike, there were some niggles I wasn't happy with when on my first ride. The bike was immediately booked back in and the issues dealt with for collection later that day. Excellent service from knowledgeable, friendly mechanics.

My bike needed a fair bit of love and attention with bottom bracket, chain, cassette...., while this was not a cheap fix the level of service and repair is exemplary. Tim the mechanic really went above and beyond in bringing my bike back to life. It felt like riding a brand new bike home and I'll definitely use this company again. All of the staff seem helpful, knowledgeable and proactive. Thanks Guys.

Called in with broken chain on Sunday morning just on opening time, welcomed by helpful staff member, chain cheerfully fixed by friendly mechanic in about 20 minutes while we had coffee at hip coffee shop next door.Great!
