Vets4Pets - Blackwood

Absolutely fantastic team!We had our beloved cat who was almost 18 with many health problems put to rest with Vets for Pets in Blackwood and I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and compassionate attitude towards my sister who had to take Poppy for her final visit to the vets.I honestly did not expect the sympathy card, certificate of cremation or the lovely little envelope with seeds in. So thank you all so much, it means a lot to the whole family!

While the vet and receptionist were great, I was quoted 3 different prices for the same procedure, with almost £100, being the difference, while I was in the consulting room. Apparently they've changed their procedures recently, but the staff hadn't been made aware. I did tell the vet that it would be my dog's first and last visit to them as I felt their procedures left a lot to be desired. Most disappointed.

Amazing services, Always give my 2 dogs the best care. All members of staff are happy caring and willing to help. Wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting vets4pets. The receptionists are genuinely fantastic, I must say that my experience surpassed all expectations and left me in awe of how professional the girls are and both Nadine and Sharon have exceptional customer service skills.From the moment I walk in their friendly demeanor and fun nature immediately puts me at ease,keep up the good work girls you are both shining stars of veterinary reception.Ps . Ignore the haters you are both brilliant at your job and i highly reccomend you to everyone and I would not go anywhere else,Thankyou for making my visits memorable every time I come and please don't change you are both loved for your outstanding skills, genuine care and commitment to customer service

The vets and nurses are absolutely fab they can’t do enough for you and your pets. All receptionist are great bar the one older woman who is vile. I had a voucher through the door for my dogs 13th birthday for a “head to tail check” and when I went in there for it to be done she was extremely rude and refused to let me use it as my dog was 13 and had nothing but attitude??? Had to take my dog to an emergency appointment for his ears and she was there again with the most horrendous attitude ever and all I asked for was to pay for the appointment. I’m not sure of her name but after the 2 visits Iv had with here I’m going to take my dog elsewhere….it’s a shame because every thing else is brilliant

Looking to get our kitten vaccinated and neutered, saw on vets4pets website they do care plan which includes vaccinations and money off neutering so inquired on line. We had an email to call so popped in to Blackwood instead, spoke to 2 lovely ladies at reception that helped straight away, got our kitten booked in for his vaccinations and set up the plan! Really helpful and great customer service.

Very friendly staff.Fitted my chicken in at short notice, had a delay on the road, they were busy with an emergency so we rescheduled for the next day. Sadly I had to put her to sleep but the vet was very kind and could tell she cares a great deal.Our pup is also registered here and the other vet we seen was lovely with her and answered the questions I had.

I’ve been coming here with my dogs for years and wouldn’t recommend anyone else. The surgery have always been compassionate and show so much care towards my dogs. They listen to what is being said rather than just assuming they already know, are more knowledgable about behaviour than any other practice I’ve used previously, and I can always trust my input will be listened to regarding how to handle my dogs. So much so that I’ve yet to have a single dog who didn’t enjoy a vet visit - there’s no better review than that!
