Hafod House Rest Home

During my stay at Hafod House, I had a wonderful time. Starting with the staff I cannot express in words how much they helped me through good times and also bad times,no request ever seemed like a choar and they always had time for you no matter what even when rushed off their feet. The food is exceptional and if you are peckish in-between meals or through the night something would soon be made for you. Even though I did not partake in many activities there was always something for the residents to do.Your room along with the whole of the building is kept extremely clean. The grounds are very private and quiet and well kept l would not hesitate for a second to recommend Hafod House to any of my family and friends.

The staff are really friendly and helpful at Hafod House. The environment is very welcoming and homely. I really like how there are halloween decorations up, made it feel more homely and fun!

An excellent home with staff who are genuinely caring, compassionate and friendly. The meals look excellent and nourishing. A little treasure in North Wales.

I am the manager of a service supporting people with learning disabilities. Sue and her team have recently provided a volunteer opportunity to a young lady. The team have made her really welcome and she is enjoying building her confidence and helping others. Thanks to all at Hafod House.

both my mother and mother in law are current residents at Hafod House Residential Home. They both have very different needs and personalities. The care and respect shown by all members of staff is beyond reproach. They are both happy and well cared for. The food is great and the atmosphere is generally happy and pleasant. I have work for hafod house for 3 years and have enjoyed every moment of it . It my pleasure to support all the residents in that time . It will always be more than job for me it so rewarding . In the 3 years i have been there this year . Hafod house has never looked so lovely and warm for all the residences which is there home. Lianne the new manager is making great improvements to hafod house and the 2 seniors carers.Hafod house have great carer team and all of the staff who work in hafod house makes a lovely and caring home .

As someone who has had both parents go into a nursing home one was a ok type of experiance concerning my farther the other was really bad. How ever my partner took it on herself to work for hafod house nursing home .i was sceptical of the word care. Home...as what i see the word care is a very rare thing in nursing homes ..no matter what they cover...dementia. or resident. How ever what i have seen with hafod house nursing home..every staff member cares for the residents. To such a high standard..honestly.i only wish now myself and family new about hafod house when we needed a home...quality manager to outstanding care staff..i emphasis the word care..it means a lot to all staff who work there that the individuals and couples who reside there are comfortable and well cared for.. for me that is how all care and residential homes should be... good on you hafod house care home..all care homes in the country should use hafod house as a goal to follow.quality residential care home.

I have worked in Hafod house since January, and I have worked in care for over 25years and the staff and management are so professional and caring for their residents. I would certainly recommen any of my family to stay there.They have certainly welcomed myself and the whole staff team do a wonderful job,I am proud to be part of this team.
