Made extremely welcome at this Brewers Fayre, lady behind the bar was delightfully chatty, and extremely helpful, couldn't do enough to ensure we were happy with our visit.Food was delicious and nicely presented. The pub is large with plenty of space, really nice to not be hemmed in by extra tables. Given a 3 for atmosphere as it was extremely quiet to the point of silence apart from the conversation on our table however the weather was torrential so we were the crazy ones to be out and about.Veggie lasagne and the fish pie were fabulous!

Breakfast as a guest in the hotel next door. Had run out of sausages, I had the last egg (cold and old), my husband the last bacon. Mushrooms and tomatoes also cold. No decaff coffee. Had to wait for a spoon. Selection much more limited than advertised. I understand that many who use the restaurant are workers who breakfast early but there are also guests there for other reasons who also need to be catered for and we were there at 8.30am. The girl who was managing breakfast could not be located to ask for more food. Some food did appear but only as we were leaving. Shan't use it again, especially as we had paid £9.99 each in advance.

I have given 3 stars generously purely for the soft play, it's a decent size where you can see your little ones from all seating in the seperated area and the couple of times we have been (as a last resort) it has been well maintained and quiet. The food has little imagination. It's incredibly average and lacks any sort of care. This is likely why the place is so quiet, which again was a positive for the soft play.I only go here when caught out with kids, ie.planned a day out and it's been a wash out so on route home we quickly pull as we know it will be quiet and kids can let off some steam.

We were left standing at the front for ages waiting to be seated. Finally we were shown to our table by a server who barely said a word to us. We waited over half an hour without so much as a drink before finding out from another member of staff that we were supposed to order at the bar. Would have been handy to have been given this information by our server (if he can be called that!) rather than us sitting feeling ignored. We have never been here before so we weren’t aware of how to order and naturally assumed table service. It wasn’t even that busy! After this, we gave up and left without dining. We won’t be going back.

We all had a great night out, Debbie being the legendary mixologist potion maker of the famous caramel martinis and Orlando being the charming barman, these two people made the night what it was and can’t thank them enough. Food was really nice too I had the brewers dog meal and it was refreshing to get a proper hot dog at a meal rather than something thrown together and made to look like a hot dog. Toilets are also clean and tidy too so cleanliness is obviously important. Will definitely be returning again!

Debbie, the manager here who served us, could teach customer service as a trade, very attentive and personable, food was late, and she got it sorted quickly, which warranted the 5 stars, if it wasn't for you Debbie, this review would be very different as food was very late and cold, but had obviously been microwaved, as I think the server left our food a little to long before bringing it to us.. you're a credit to the business, my dear. Thank you for your incredible service.

I recently dined at the Brewers Fayre Great Park and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, I appreciated being promptly escorted to an appropriate table and the timely delivery of our food. However, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. Tables, floors, and children's high chairs still bore remnants of previous meals. It was concerning to observe managerial and other staff members lounging at the bar while patrons, including my party, awaited assistance. Furthermore, we experienced an unacceptable delay of over an hour for a child's dessert, necessitating an intervention with the manager to expedite service.Overall, this visit was unfortunately not up to the standard I'd expect from a dining establishment and left room for significant improvement

Well. Good job I wasn’t working as a secret shopper tonight specialising in hospitality !!Not much positive and a lot negative. No atmosphere. For a Friday night they were not busy. However food took forever to come. Chef lost the vegetable curry. I ask you? How can you loose it - and really the only thing on the menu for vegetarians that didn’t look like meat)!!My main was cold (re done for me). Only thing my husband could have was a Vegan burger. It was Disgusting !!The saving grace was one staff member who was named Orlando who was helpful, chatty and definitely should be in the managers post. He very much professionally defended the otherwise indefensible, whilst maintaining his own personal integrity. Which is quite hard to do.

What a beautiful pub I work I a care home and we Decided to go out for a meal there was 10 of us when we turned up at great park. There was no problem with seating us at all, the staff are absolutely brilliant Nothing was too much bother. The food came out really quickly and was lovely and warm Residents really enjoyed their meal what made it even better was that the manager Debbie Took the time out of her busy day to come and say hello to all of our residents.she asked if their food was all OK and if they are having a nice time Obviously they all said yes and they could not wait to get stuck in to a pudding When the puddings came out they looked absolutely delicious at £2.99 per pudding what an absolute bargain We are now planning our Christmas party at great park and hoping to bring more of our lovely residents to this absolutely lovely pub.Thank you to all the staff Treating our residence with dignity and respect.
