Visited for the first time last Friday with my 8 year old son as a treat. We enjoyed a taster plate put together by the kitchen, as well as the salmon sharing platter and the hoisin duck chips. The food was all amazing and I wish we had room to try more, but what really made the meal all the more special was the excellent customer service. Huge thanks to Tom and his team for making my son's first experience of sushi so welcoming and memorable!

The people that work here are the highlight of this place. The staff is so kind and makes the whole experience so enjoyable. The chicken gyoza , chicken two ways and chicken katsu were my favourite. Tom is a wonderful manager and goes the extra mile to give us a great experience overall.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable experience in Yo! this evening. We received a very warm welcome from our server Anna, who was attentive and helpful throughout. It took us a while to decipher the menu’s vegan & vegetarian options, but we pleasantly surprised to see so many choices.We tried 6 dishes and particularly enjoyed the mock duck yakisoba and the unlimited miso soup. My wife said it was probably the best miso she’d ever had, flavourful and packed with plenty of vegetables and tofu.Even though it was almost closing time, we never felt rushed and were so impressed by Anna and her colleague Tom’s friendly manner. Good food is obviously the primary yardstick for a restaurant – but to us the service is equally important. We had great food, and even better service from two lovely people. We’ll certainly return to try more of the vegetarian/vegan options.

Tom the new manager has really turned this place around. We’ve been loyal customers for years because the food has always been incredible and the kids love sushi but for a long time the service in all honesty hasn’t been great because they’ve been so short staffed. Whatever has happened at HQ, it’s a good thing and Tom’s clearly the right person for the job!He was extremely kind to my son today as well and let him have a go at rolling his own sushi which made his day.

Absolutely amazing every. single. time. The sushi is fresh and reasonably priced compared to other sushi restaurants in Plymouth. The service was exceptional and I leave with a massive smile after each attendance. Thank you to Tom for being an amazing caterer- a warm, genuine and kind human being :)

i’m dissatisfied. the food and prices used to be perfect and loving now… it’s overpriced and unaffordable. i am very disappointed and upset by this as i can no longer afford to take my two children to the restaurant as it’s gone from £2 - £5! disgusted , revolted and unsatisfied by this! the old conveyer belt has come back and it’s TERRBLE!

The food is really tasty, and it's a novel way to order on the app and have a conveyor belt bring it to you. The unlimited miso soup is delicious and good value. The staff were friendly, although it's a bit hard to get someones attention if you need it. It's right in the middle of the mall, but when you dine in, you don't feel particularly on show or surrounded by shoppers. Quite an expensive place to stop for food, but overall a good experience that I would recommend trying out.

Absolutely love the atmosphere at YO! The conveyor belt is such a fun idea, it makes the experience more interesting. The food is also amazing! Have been a few times, working my way through the chicken and veggie based menu.

Had a great time with my daughter today. Kids eat free - what a great offer- free bento box when adult spends £10.Tom heard my daughter saying she would love to make sushi. He kindly let her have a go. She loved the experience. Thanks Tom for making her day :)
