We only visited the restaurant but the menu was adequate, the food very good, and the terrace setting excellent.

We have just been to Old Walls Vineyard for Sunday lunch.Everyone enjoyed their meals.I had the vegan gluten free nut roast which was one of the best ones I've had for a long time. The red cabbage was really good. The staff are lovely, always smiling and happy to help.If you want the nut roast to be gluten free you need to put that on your booking. This is what they had asked me to do.Well worth going there.

We regularly come for breakfast at weekends as local residents. Food is always consistently good and the staff are lovely.

Visited here with my husband and 2 children as we were down in Devon visiting family, and these lodges were situated around the corner. The lodges themselves are beautiful, and the views of the vineyard are stunning. I can only imagine what it would be like in the summer months sitting outside on the decking. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking facilities, fridge, dishwasher etc. However, if you don't fancy self-catering, then you can walk to the restaurant. The double bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable to the point where I am thinking of emailing the owner to find out the make of the mattress! The only thing I did find a little disappointing was that some of the windows in the living room didn't have blinds, and as the twin room wasn't big enough to host a travel cot because of both of the beds she had to sleep in there which I found uncomfortable with the thought someone could easily look through.Other than that, we couldn't fault the break away and would definitely recommend it to others.

Went here for Sunday morning breakfast, and everything was excellent. Service was professional and friendly, food was outstanding, sitting outside the view was superb. We also got a quick tour of the wine making operation which was really enjoyable.

We had a lovely four days down in South Devon we normally head to the North for the surfing but this year with a new baby arrival surfing was out the question. So thought we would try the south and stumbled across this beautiful little place set in the heart of the Devon countryside on a very well kept vineyard. The onside bistro was very good they catered for Gluten free and also had a high chair for little one and a good selection of Devon beers and vineyard wines. In terms of the place and the accommodation it wad exceptional clean and had everything one would want, bath, shower, TV, coffee machine and kitchen utensils for cooking. We felt the 4 Star review could have easily been a 5 star with some really basic things -Only 2 coffee pods supplied for the coffee machine for a 4 night stay really isn't enough now upon asking I did get some more but just to have them there in the first place would have been better maybe 1 per person per day for the length of stay as a suggestion.Only 3 teas bags, again as aboveThere were some bits around the place that had been filled but not painted which again really basic and easily resolvedFinally for that 5 star experience would have been amazing to sample the actual vineyard wine maybe a small bottle of red and small bottle of white. But please don't let these small things put anyone off going to stay at old walls vineyard we will be returning and next time if we have our parents with us we will be doing the tour of the vineyard as we spoke to another couple who were staying and they did the tour and said it was excellent.

The food was excellent, we had a roast dinner and it was genuinely the best roast I've had in a while. (I went to Rick Steins The Cornish Arms week before for a roast and Old Walls far outshone it!) Lots of quality veg, Yorkshire pudding (even if you order pork) and great cuts off meat. Really love the vibe up here too and on a sunny day I'm sure it would be lovely to sit outside as it has gorgeous views. Wine lovely too!

Had Breakfast here on Saturday and was blown away from local high quality produce executed to a perfect 10/10 breakfast. My husband had full and I enjoyed Avocado and Eggs. I then read some reviews and we went back today to sample the legendary Sunday Roast. In honesty, the best roast ever. The beef was so perfectly pink and tender served with an amazing generous selection of vegetables.WelcomeServiceFoodDrinksViewA total 10 out of 10.Thank you

Four of us went for breakfast. Dogs barked and fought INDOORS the entire time, and we couldn't hear ourselves speak.Breakfast took around an hour to come! I ordered the egg on toast with bacon and it arrived without the bacon. I had to ask for the bacon which came even later on a plate with no apology.I didn't want the full English but only saved a pound by having just egg, toast and bacon. Didn't have time to finish it as I had to be home by 12. Coffee was nice.A nice setting and ample parking. May try again and see if the dogs are a regular Saturday thing.
