My mother who is in her seventies had an awful experience here. Purchased a couple of Tins of Dulux Paint but a lady helped her to find another can as my mum could only see one on the shelf. Employee fetched a second tin of paint and these were paid for but a few days later we realised the second tin was not the same shade of Pink as the first tin, when attempting to return the item or exchange the item my mother was told they haven't stocked this other colour for years" and my mum even heard another employee say "it has probably been sitting in her garage for years". Mum tried to call them a few days later and the line went dead half way through the conversation. Terrible customer service i certainly wont be heading there anymore"

Diy store selling pretty much everything you need for your home and garden at reasonable prices. This store is very tidy with products freely available on shelves. Staff are warm and friendly offering help and assistance where needed.

Went to look for a new long reach hedge trimmer they had every electrical product in store except for what I was after. Was told that you have to purchase on line, cannot see there method of madness, why cannot the customer see one before they buy it they have with every other product in the garden section.

Found everything we needed easily, however, the young, goth looking girl at the till should be retrained in customer service skills. Messing around on her phone, chewing gum, and monosyllabic responses. Total lack of interest in what she was supposed to be doing. If any management are reading this, please retrain her!

Great deals and bargains. A lot to see and great prices on so many items. Parking the car was easy, walking in and looking around was a joy with so much to see it's hard to know where to start. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and that's why I give B&Q St Austell five stars.

So went there today, the place itself was fine but when I came out I had a ticket on my car. Because of the torrential down pour of rain I parked over a white line. Not knowing the parking is privately owned and most probably they will try and fine me. I will never go to that parking area again
