Laura Sevenus Swimming Tuition

Very clean pool, minimal chlorine (which is good) and UV filtered. Facilities are very clean (could have more soft mats for babies). My instructor was very friendly and personable. My baby made good progress. Location is awkward to park but coming by foot is fine. Cancellation policy for lessons is very restrictive (only four holiday days allowed a year) and must produce a doctors note for sick days. Front of house staff a bit stiff and unhelpful, proper skills in customer service would make the swimming experience much more enjoyable and worth the monthly fee. Overall - lovely facilities and tuition but let down by the lack of real customer service and attention to detail.

We’ve been going to Laura Sevenus Chiswick branch since my son was little and couldn’t recommend it more. The facilities are fantastic, the teachers are really lovely, and the admin staff are helpful. We found that swimming was one of our son’s favourite weekly activities - really happy to see him get very comfortable in water.Unfortunately we decided to pause to see what happens with Covid and while I’m pregnant but we definitely hope to back!

I don't recommend this place for your child as the quality is ver poor. Kids don't improve at all after being there for almost a year. So many people moved the kids to another swimming shools.Also is sl warm inside even to wait for my child for 30 minutes.Improve your service!

My daughter has been going for a few weeks now into the classes and has made a lot of progress already. She loves the lessons, and her instructor Clau is really good at engaging the children and getting them to surpass their comfort zone. Also, the office staff is very helpful. I couldn't be more happy!

The swim school is located in a narrow walkway down the side of the tube station. Upon entering there is a reception desk, buggy parking and coat/boot storage and aquarium and play area for kids. The changing areas and pool is upstairs. The women's changing area has a small area for nursing. The pool is small but amazingly warm and perfect for teaching kids and babies. What makes this place so amazing is that they have their own method for teaching babies and kids to swim. I've attended babyswim elsewhere and that's more like get the baby wet and sing nursery songs. This course is not like this. This is intense but fun and is actually teaching baby swim skills. I can't recommend this place and their method highly enough. While there may be a waitlist do sign up as there is movement, we made it into the baby swim course after a few weeks on the waitlist.

This is a really special place for children to grow in confidence, have fun in the water and gain real life skills. We have been blown away by the progress they make and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Thank you for making swimming such a special experience.

Our son started at Laura Sevenus when he was about four months old and made amazing progress. After we moved to a different part of London, we tried a few other places but nothing compared. We now travel over 40 minutes each way just to come back to Laura Sevenus and it’s totally worth it.From the facilities to the incredible teachers, it’s outstanding

I have been taking my Son to Laura Sevenus for over a year now and he absolutely loves it! He has special needs and always requests coming back to this pool. Staff have always been very kind and helpful and they go above and beyond to help you with any requests. Cleaners can be seen throughly cleaning the place which is always reassuring. Fantastic tutors and a clean, well-designed environment for children and parents make it so easy to get your little ones into swimming. Great facilities thought to make life easy for parents so they can focus on the swimming experience for their kids. Can only recommend it.

Swimming lessons themselves: great! I've brought my charge here for almost a year and went through two instructors (change due to levelling up) and both were great.Facilities: pretty good, they strive to maintain as clean as possible. Great waiting area designed for children downstairs and upstairs!Cafe staff: this is why the review is 2 stars, so it gets management attention; for the past month there is this young lady who keeps complaining about everything that happens (related and non-related to immediate transaction), she comes across as totally inexperienced (which is OK at that age) but also away with the fairies with a touch of attitude. Also it gets very time consuming for many of us grown ups because we get that half an hour (length of lesson) only and many of us need it for admin, emails, food order, etc. It gets time consuming because she talks so much about the smallest thing but without being constructive!Please, either train her more appropriately or change her! Prices here at the cafe are rather expensive, let along if it gets service such as this... most grown ups complain about it while chatting away...
