Kingsford Farm Lodges

31/08/19 for 7 nights. 2nd visit after staying there 6 years ago. Peaceful surroundings and hot tub - what's not to like? Owner very friendly and seems no nonsense. Be aware that the lodges are found down very narrow country lanes which might be intimidating to some but there's a Sainsbury's 15 mins away so it's not that remote! I went running a few times but didn't see any decent walks in the vicinity even though it mentions it's set in acres of farmland, etc so you'll need your car to see the surrounding area. Lodges 3 and 4 seem the best positioned lodges so if you can get them then you'll have a great stay. Take extra towels, dishwasher tablets, etc as you don't get enough!

The lodges are located in a rural position and are surrounded by fields, it is quiet and peaceful here. There are pheasants, rabbits and Guinea fowl wandering around as well as sheep in the nearby field.The hosts offer a warm welcome and are on hand should anything be needed.The lodges are very clean and comfortable, it is just like home from home.The hot tub helps if you have been out touring the area and return to the lodge needing to wind down.We have stayed here on several occasions and would recommend if you are looking for peace and relaxation.

Great lodge! Has everything you need in it. Host very friendly. Brilliant secluded location. Only 4 lodges on site , so good privacy. Quiet. We stayed on Christmas with kids and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Lovely place to stay, very high quality lodges with hot tubs and not on top of each other. The lodges are set in a rural location on a farm. Set in a beautiful secluded valley on the edge of Dartmoor. There is a small lake here with regular visits from a heron. This place is a real hidden gem and you really do get a relaxing stay. It is close to Exeter for those who enjoy shopping or exploring historic places and a short drive from some stunning Devon beaches.

Three of us stayed in one of the 2 bed cottages. Accommodation is as described and in the photos, fast replies to queries, good directions to property and recommendations for pub/restraunt on asking. Maps in the property for walks. My friend's 4 year old loved that we were on a farm with baby cows and tractors bringing in the hay. Have recommend to a friend.

21st-25th May 2018.Very enjoyable stay. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed and more. The site is very private and set in a picturesque valley ,with a small well stocked fishing pond and a abundance of wildlife. If you like peace and quiet set in the beautiful Devon countryside..this is the site for you. A real gem!!The owners were friendly and helpful and always around if you needed them. Left thoroughly relaxed! We will definitely be going back.Gary and Delia

Lovely little getaway, well stocked pond for fishing very clean cabins and well equipped. Looking at coming back next Christmas

Lovely place to stay lanes to get to it are single track but quite manageable every one polite and gives way
