Excellent food and even more excellent service from the lady who served us jade was lovely and polite and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for her! Would definitely come back again!

Went the observatory with my family today, ordered our food & went it arrived three of the meals were on just edible as they were only a little warm. (Not hot like they should have been if they had just been cooked) . 2 people ordered the seeabass & when it arrived it was so cold they couldn't eat it so we said we would like to changed these meals & The response from the staff member was well what do you want now cos you might owe us more money or I might owe you!" The customer service was a joke

Staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Food was excellently cooked and presented, the portion sizes were the same size as other Hungry Horses, and the food was all hot. Place was warm, clean and comfortable. The Hungry Horse menu is always the same, so the difference between the locations is down to the staff. My understanding is that the Observatory is under new management, so the current staff here seem to be doing a great job. The newest reviews show quite an improvement, so if you’ve been put off by older reviews, or a visit some time ago, it may be worth returning and giving the place a second chance.

Lovely pub , food is always great and never disappoints .Staff are very friendly and accommodating I have went during busy football times and never had any issue with food / drink.Plenty of parking available too.Would recommend the hangover Mac and cheese it tasted amazing!

Food was really lovely and fresh. Service was quick, and atmosphere was calming. Even when leaving the manager gave my grand son £2 to buy 2 toys from machines. One for him and one for his big sister who wasn't even with us. So lovely. Definitely will be going back on a regular basis

Great pub, always a good afternoon rain or shine, kids play area is great, food isn’t hot a fresh. Jade and Becky especially nice and always happy to help. Go as much as possible even for a drink 10/10 for this place and staff.

Visited a couple of weeks ago, no hot water or heating so was colder inside pub than out. No postmix so only limited to (more expensive) bottles for soft drinks. Chips were cold with 2 of 3 meals, which were replaced quickly and without fuss, other than that food was good. Icing on the cake the barmaid didn't know how to use a corkscrew.

Convenient to Widnes town centre and west Warrington. Nice environment. Expected food quality in attractive price. Great to watch the Premier League in the family area too (no sound)
