Nice park for walking your dogs, my only complaint is the new coffee shop because you can't get parked in the top car park for people wanting a drink.

This is a hidden gem. This park covers everything from a great kids play area, wildlife, numerous walks - which can be as easy or difficult as you like, with great views all around.

Herrington Park - Play Area
Called here with daughters and granddaughter, great park, it’s designed for all ages, there’s a great cafe there, toilets, an ice cream van , free parking and lots of walks, ponds with all sorts of birds, and lots of places to sit and picnic. They have different events at the park, from walks, runs to gigs.

Herrington Park - Play Area
Great enclosed park for youngsters. Lots to play on including a zip wire. Large lake with loads of wildlife. Walks all over the park. Penshaw monument just across the road. Ice cream vans at the park and lake. Public toilets and a relatively new café serving cakes coffee, tea and other delicious food. There is also a farm shop nearby.

Fantastic open space, lots of parking, tarmac car park beside the cafe and play park , grass overflow car park on way in , tarmac car park down by the lake . There's an amphitheatre, a skate park and lots of walks for anyone along the many miles of paths that crisscross the park . Great for adults ,kids, dog walking.

A really good outdoor playground with adjacent cafe and toilets.Weekends they have a Thomas the Tank Engine train to take you round the park and an ice cream van.My 4 yr old loves it.

Herrington Park - Play Area
Great play area for the kids. Everything is in great condition and there is a super variety.Recommend getting there at earlier times as can get very busy at peak times and on holidays.
