I really recommend this free course Supercharge your writing. It was full of tips and insights which helped me focus on how to achieve my ambitions as a writer. Invaluable.

It's a great place but I wish we could wait inside for the events because it gets very cold outside.

Not getting your goals completed? Not writing as much as you'd like? Do you need to be more focused, more productive? This course will help you. It has outline all the areas where I was wasting my precious time. What are your weaknesses, your strengths? (And this is free too!)

Love the monthly socials for writers to get together and events. I really miss the writing meetups though.

I have enjoyed the writing courses that I have attended there. You meet like-minded people in a friendly atmosphere. I recommend their courses. Dragon Hall itself, is a wonderful, historic building and well worth a visit on it's open days.

Always a pleasure to attend an event at the National Centre for Writing. Dragon Hall is an amazing building with real character, dating from the mid 1400s. Combined with 21st century literature it is a gem for Norwich

Fascinating intro to Sci-fi writing and what it entails. It is augmented with some outside reading and other media, and with useful exercises - all for free. The inexperienced writer wanting to learn to write Sci-fi would do well to go on and take the two writing courses the instructor offers if they are as good as this one.

I’ve just completed the ‘Start Writing Crime Fiction’ course with Nicola Upson and it was superb. Never having undertaken a course like this before I wasn’t sure what to expect and was a little nervous - but I needn’t have worried. Nicola was an excellent tutor. The course was easy to follow, the online exercises were clear - designed to gradually build your writing skills - and regular set reading which was always interesting and entertaining. Nicola’s feedback/critique on my assignments was consistently helpful and encouraging, whilst still flagging up what needed to be improved and developed. If you’ve ever thought about having a go at writing crime fiction then this is a terrific course to start with. I would highly recommend it.

Yet to have a proper tour. Lovely event. Greeters at the door. Drinks were available. Seating supported networking. Event hostesses were charming and kept conversations going or made introductions.
