When my Mother passed away at the end of 2019, I took many items to this shop. The staff are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. When I have no longer use for items I think others can enjoy, I will always use this shop.

I was made to feel shamed because of bringing back some clothes which didn’t fit (with full receipt), as advised by a different Ashgate Hospice Shop, by who I believed to be the male in charge today.Usually receive good service from this charity shop and I very rarely bring clothes back to charity, but needs must sometimes. This should not be made into a huge issue at the till in front of a whole shop. It was even suggested that I take them back to the far away store. There was a lack of friendliness which felt abrasive as a customer, and I recommend that this practice is changed for the next person who wants to go through the simple action of returning some clothes.
