The only reason they have a high pass rate is because they throw student off of their courses four weeks before the final exams and keep the high achievers. If you don’t want to destroy your life go somewhere that values your education. The only good thing about this college is the Library support.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would! Robert only cares about btec students and Rav doesn't even know how to do anything but be useless. English department is great and can turn a U student to a B student overnight. the music department literally gave me depression. The deputy head has his own head so far up Roberts he more or less aided in giving me depression and ruin my life. The english and sociology department work miracles. The teachers in those departments are angels in disguises.

Rude staff. Not worth your child attending unless your goal is for them to be a failure. How can you expect your children to be function individuals of society if those who are suppose to teach them act abhorrently? You’re better off finding a brighter future in a trash can than here.

The worst college. My sister tried to enrol here and of course firstly I would like to get more info about the courses and enrolment process so I went to admissions department & can I just say they are so rude and not friendly. We are potential new students and they had so much attitude rolling there eyes back and using a rude tone. A much older lady in the team was also mean so others mirrored that attitude. My sister did not end up going here as first impressions were bad and I have friends that go there and have told me that the dark admissions department is to be avoided at all costs! AVOID AVOID AVOID..... they ruin the experience for current students and will definitely not be getting more students if they carry on the way they are.

Worst teachers, did Art and the favouritism is too great here. Teachers such as Fenella ruin everything because they are too old for teaching. Other things may be that you are very likely to see police or hear there is someone getting stabbed on a daily basis. Not a safe school.

bad school environment and culture - unserious students who don’t care. smoking in classroom and toilets and fireworks at school. don’t come here unless you don’t want to learn. Psychology department is good though. Economics department is terrible- don’t do economics here, you won’t learn anything. The library is good for study.

The science department is excellent. There are very helpful, however some may not be helpful at times if you disrespect them. I'm not sure about the other departments but I have been hearing bad things from my friends about other departments being bad.Also the receptionist, her name is mel, needs changing, whenever I go up to her to tell her I am going for job interview or going interview for uni, she keeps saying Oh im busy" etc.

Beware GeographyOverall a good college but daughter was racially abused on geography field trip, teaching was poor for this course had to seek tutoring support and when daughter requested help after A levels very poor service - other subjects very good though.

AVOID, AVOID!!!! at All cost if you want to succeed in life. There are some good teachers. However, there are disingenuous teachers who do not really care about students and their learning. Do not waste the most important stage of your life in this place. The teachers are extremely prejudiced and fake. They make you think you cannot do something such as passing a course or they make you think you are doing something wrong when they are bad at teaching. They are not teachers they are fraud.

Pretty good instuition. I attended from 2015-2017 passed with flying colours. In GCSE I got C’s and D’s but In This college i left with an A*. In my opinion there was not alot of boundaries and Sections or discipline for coming in late or missing your Homework etc which is good which makes you more dependent unlike high school where you get disciplined and get attention for every little thing such as not wearing your tie and feels like a prison. In leyton if your really wanted to you could just get up and leave class but its your education on the line and yours grades so your not FORCED to stay within the gates and thats why everyone passes and gets top grades. Being able to freely move around and not be forced to stay within the gates like high school in my opinion is what makes student WANT to come in and not HAVE to come in. When you have boundaries you want to break them and when there isn’t then you don’t.I would say 80% in my law class received an A* or A the others lacked due to missing class.Teachers do push you to do well but to an extent as we are “ Adults” know.Bad points are that ENROLMENT IS the worst thing you can experience. I had to STAND for 3 hours im a quee to get the office in which you have to wait for more. I spent about 6 hours on enrolment day just sitting around queening as there are 1000s of new students queening and enrolling to.Canteen is a sham and overpriced.Library with computers are too small.There is a prayer room for muslim teachers and students and a room for christians too.
