Strides Wedding Specialists

We used Strides for our recent wedding and Melvyn and his team fantastic from start to finish. We asked them to provide the men’s suits and full venue styling. Melvyn is a pleasure to deal with, an absolute professional and also managed to put this bridezilla at ease by making everything hassle and stress free.We have had so many comments from our guests about how beautiful the flowers and styling were. I would highly recommend Strides to anyone!

I ordered 5 suits from strides, we are all different sizes from 6 foot 5 inches, muddke aged short & fat to a 9 year old. All the suits were magnificent.Melvin and his team were brilliant, very attentive and supportive always went the extra mile.I would recommend Strides 100%

Strides are brilliant! Firstly I met Melvin, he was really helpful and made arrangements for me to meet Jill.I turned up at the appointment time and the dresses I had shown interest in were on a rail ready for me. I spent 2 hours trying on dresses ,the ones I had chosen and some Jill thought I might like.I had my Mum with me and they were brilliant with her, even made her a cup of tea.Jill found a dress, I tried it on and it was definitely,YES to the dress.I would recommend them to everyone. first class service.

A huge thank you to Merlyn and the team at Strides. They provided us with five suits along with engraved pocket watches. The suits were immaculate and were fitted really well. The engraved messages were perfect too. Such a good service and lovely people. Thank you for helping our day be perfect.

If I could give zero stars I would!!Absolutely disgusting service. I s as told before my wedding I had nothing left to pay then the day before my wedding they rang demanding more money and basically held me to ransom saying if I didn’t pay they wouldn’t turn up ok the day. Both owners were very rude and nasty and put the phone down on me. Moving onto my wedding day they turned up late didn’t dress my room for me to walk down the aisle and then took forever to dress the room for our sit down meal!! All they had to do was dress the chairs and out table clothes on everything else I supplied and Ringwood were sorting!! I would definitely not recommend them and if I new then what I know now I wouldn’t have used them and I do not know how they are a recommended supplier for Ringwood when staff at Ringwood have said them selves this isn’t the first time it’s happened and agreed with everything we said. We even have friends who got married in Covid that had the exact same issues with them

Melvin did an amazing job at my daughters wedding and wow he is amazing. As mother of the bride and meeting him on the day I was absolutely blown away with his attention to detail and such a personable 'character '. I would absolutely recommend his services!! The flowers were outstanding too!!!!!

We met Strides at a wedding fayre at Ringwood Hall and instantly knew we wanted to work with Melvin - he is so friendly and organised and nothing is too much trouble! We went to our meeting to discuss details at the shop in Chesterfield and Melvin put together exactly what we had in mind - his expertise also helped us in making decisions about things we hadn't even considered! My fiancé hadn't chosen his suit yet, so Melvin also helped him to put together the perfect wedding outfit with all the most beautiful details. Strides organised all our suits for the groom, groomsmen and fathers and the made the process so smooth!On the morning of the wedding Melvin worked so hard to make everything perfect - all our suits looked incredible and our ceremony and reception rooms were decorated to absolute perfection. All of our guests commented on all the beautiful details Strides had organised for us, and my husband and I couldn't believe how perfectly Melvin had created exactly what we had in mind - maybe even better than we could have imagined!Thank you so much to the whole team at Strides! We honestly couldn't recommend them enough!

Melvyn and his team were amazing, despite the number of last minute cancellations we had to go through (covid and personal reasons) they stuck by us and gave advise on what to do next. We eventually married in October 2021 using the Chatsworth Suite for the ceremony and the Ringwood suite for the breakfast and reception. Both rooms looked phenomenal and we had the best day thanks to Melvyn and his team.Keep up the amazing work Melvyn and thank you so much for making our day perfect.

Hired a suit from here. Staff very helpful and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need

The lady went out of her way to help me. Was patient and supportive and have me time to pay for the dress. I also appreciated her honesty. She acknowledged when dresses didn't suit me and in the end we both agreed on the perfect dress. I'm a black woman and sometimes got subtle hints sometimes when attendants were impatient, never experienced that at Strides. Would recommend her 200%
