Out of all Chinese supermarkets around Swansea, this one is the most authentically Cantonese. You can get everything you need for Cantonese cooking, a variety of Chinese vegetables, sauces, noodles, Cantonese duck, rice, snacks, pastries, frozen foods including Chinese and Japanese dumplings as well as dim sum etc. This place may seem small but it also has Thai, Japanese and Korean foods which can be very difficult to get in West of Cardiff. The prices are very fair and reasonable.I enjoy coming here as the two ladies always make me feel welcome. The lady by the counter is a very hard worker and friendly. She makes sure that I'm catered for and that says a lot about a business owner. She's very personable, remembers her customers and it makes me feel comfortable knowing that I can shop here for all the Asian necessities.

Edit: The store reached out below, and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in these trying times. As such, I am changing my review from the original 2 stars to 4, and will give them another chance in the future sometime.The store has a nice collection of grocery items from SE and E Asia, especially considering the real estate on offer. I saw all the positive reviews here and was excited to go here, unfortunately just to be let down by an extremely rude shopkeeper. She kept asking me questions as if judging me on my skin, to the point where I was really put off by the potentially racist overtones. I still wanted to get a few things, and did so, to keep a promise for my friends but the rude behavior continued throughout the checkout process as well. Needless to say I will not be coming back here!

Please ignore any reviews complaining the service or anything like that. Me and my wife aren't Chinese but the people in the shop are always very friendly, giving my children lollipops etc. The only issue is the location as there isn't much parking. Sometimes I end up parking on the bus stop and waiting in the car in case I need to move, and even then the lady from the shop will help my wife carry her shopping out to the car. Regarding the shop itself, it can be a little cramped inside, but they have a very wide selection of East Asian food that you won't find in other shops in Swansea

I have visited this place a few times now as its the only place I will shop for any Asian spices, due to the price difference they offer in comparison to the extortionate super stores prices.It may feel abit awkward to walk in if you are not Asian. However, the staff are really lovely depsite struggling to understand them sometimes.Prices of other products are really good and the quality is 2nd to none, not to mention authentic ... Highly recommend visiting.

Lovely store. Helpful proprietors. I've been going here for years to pick up Japanese and Chinese cooking supplies. It's the best in Swansea.

Friendly staff. Got some chinese traditional seasonings and quite a variety of noodles of different countries. Also have stock of very basic Japanese and Korean seasonings. They have frozen dim sums, dumplings and some fresh chinese vegetables.

Lovely shop with Philippine products as well as Thailand with friendly people. I just found you and my wife loved shopping with you. The vegetables are available that are not in supermarkets. See you soon
