No patronising token gay nights here! This is a 7 day/ night gay venue run by the creators of the former infamous Girls and Boys nightclub.You can talk to anyone and everyone, attitude free, no ridiculous dress codes where a pair of £5 George at ASDA shoes are preferred over your £100 fashion trainers! Over 18, ID, Respect and a very definite intention to have a great night out are the only requirements.

I haven't been here in a very long time, so I'm going back there hopefully before the end of this year as it has a great atmosphere and people of all ages,and all thanks to my daughter Michelle who brought me here and I regrets, I'll see you all again Tony Mikey Moo Moo Lee and anyone else who knows me x

s a wonderful place with beautiful people and even worth a visit if you are not gay you go just to drink something if you want it super place

no idea how or why people go here over any of the nicer places to go in Canterbury. I live around the corner and the noise is terrible at night, feel sorry for the people closer. Also a lot of dealers hang around out front, and this place just seems to attracted all the people do not hit the age requirement to enter anywhere else.

Limes is a premier LGBT venue attracting an eclectic yet friendly clientele. Excellent staff and brilliant atmosphere. A venue where one feels extremely welcome.

The Toilets are disgusting, there was no toilet paper, soap or Hot Water. Not a place that represents the GAY community, it seemed that anyone can go behind the bar and it’s a bit of a ‘free for all’. I have to say it’s so sad as Canterbury has such a big gay community and this should be there place.The decor is tired and all over the place. The owners need to consider closing and having a BIG deep clean and a good refurb.More control is needed. When customers go behind the bar it’s no longer a bar it’s a house party. I could not tell you who the manager was/is.In our drinks we had a small fly! This shows a lack of care. We mentioned it to a girl and she changed the drink. Frankly I would have preferred a refund. I drank it and left.The outside looks nice it’s a shame the inside is a mess and dirty.

1-star is as low as I can go. We were visiting Canterbury on vacation, and went out of our way to visit this supposedly premier LGBTQ+ venue". We had planned to have a few drinks and enjoy an afternoon there. Our first round of drinks on draught were horrid. I've tended bar for much of my adult life and I assure you beer shouldn't taste like that. When the beer tastes awful it points to poor cleaning procedures and cleanliness standards of the establishment. We switched to bottles for our second round.That was just the beginning.
