Boots & Paws dog training and behaviour

I’ve engaged several times with Sarah regarding problems or issues with dogs. She is helpful and knowledgeable and has a positive approach to dog training willing to go out of her way to give her best to both dog and owners.

We needed help with our 4 year old rescue being reactive around other dogs and Sarah came to the rescue. We've had a couple of sessions with Sarah, firstly meeting with us to figure out why our dog was reactive and to give us some advice and tools to try and keep her attention and break the cycle. At the end of the 2nd session, we were walking side by side with Sarah and one of her dogs! Magic! Sarah knows her stuff and her style of training was perfect for us. The training continues, but walks are altogether calmer and more enjoyable! Thanks Sarah!

I have had 3 sessions with Sarah and she has been brilliant! We originally wanted help with reactivity as our puppy was very reactive to other dogs but we then had further sessions where we practiced recall and long lead training. Sarah is very approachable and so helpful giving you advice and tips on dog training. She even got our puppy to jump into the car which we had not managed in 7 months! Would definitely recommend sarah for any of your dog training needs.

I definitely recommend Sarah, I can finally walk my dog because of her. The first time we had a session we struggled to get to the end of the road because my dog was so reactive and now he walks with me every day next to the pram. She's easy to talk to and so supportive with any issues, my dog loves her and has always been excited to see her even though he has to go training.

Sarah’s services are amazing. I would never know when my husband was going away, and at such short notice Sarah would be able to have our dog Archie, which took so much stress off of me and my job not having to worry if Archie had somewhere to go or not.Archie loves Sarah and her dogs, if we were out for a walk and he spotted her or her dogs he would start wagging his tail and running over to go and say hi. Her love and understanding of dogs is amazing and we are lost without her.

I contacted Sarah about my reactive dog Freddy. She was helpful from the moment I made contact, offering me advice and reassuring me that it was something we could fix. After just one session with Sarah, we managed to pass another dog whilst keeping Freddy calm and engaged (usually he would bark, lunge and Ignore me!) I couldn’t believe my eyes!She talked me through the reasons for his behaviour in a clear and concise manner as well as giving me the advice and tools needed to fix the unwanted behaviour. She also sent me lots of helpful advice after the session for me to read up on. Now it’s down to me to practise practise practise!I couldn’t recommend Sarah highly enough. 5 stars all round!

I swear this lady is the dog whisper, after trying so many dog trainers ( which was actually making my dog worse) I felt as though I was losing my mind. Sarah came along & we're now onto a winner

Sarah is exceptional in her chosen profession, she is not only highly experienced but easily imparts that knowledge in a manner that is very easy to understand to the client/ pet parent. I highly recommend Sarah @ Boots and Paws. She is a consummate professional but she is also kind and caring towards you and your dog.
