Lazy staff, one lad don't look very old stands around in his shades doing nothing. They can't be bothered to help yet when you are about to approach the wrong skip they instantly pounce and are rude. Why not ask people, rather than tell them.Next time they stand around doing naff all or chatting to their co workers maybe worth reading up on customer service skills as its severely lacking.

I go here a lot. It’s amazing what some people throw out.Very fair pricing.Staff are generally very good.Sometimes it’s tidier than others, staff members Steven and Luke are very good, and seem to always be doing something, tidying, sorting, chatting to customers and just generally welcoming and helpful.

New system is ridiculous. I had 6 solid wood dining chairs I wanted to donate to recycling shop. I only have a 2 seater car so I asked my friend with a small van to take it to recycling centre, but we couldn't donate a thing because we didn't apply for a van permit weeks in advance! I'm not gonna bother with this place again, no donating, no recycling , everything from now on goes into a black bag or log burner. Devon council is encouraging fly-tipping.

This place is very hit and miss depending on which staff member is working in the shop. Theres a young lad who has no idea on pricing and charges almost or even over the price you can buy it new from a shop. Theres a few other other employees who look like they dont want to be there and are so miserable looking all the time . A new employee joined working there Steven is his name and will do anything to help anyone . Hes always smiling and helpful and his pricing is very fair . Hes always busy unlike most of the others who just stand around with miserable faces . He chats with costumers and nothings to much for him . He deffinatly earns his wages hes always busy doing what hes paid to do .Dave whose been there for years is also very fair with pricing and chatty towards costumers. If it wasent for these two men I wouldnt bother going there .

Please take any resealable items to a charity shop or offer those first on a local Facebook group.Their “shopkeepers” should be recalled they are in the recycling, not the trading business. These people need a price management tutorial as they fail to recognise that they are placing back on the market someone else garbage that they haven’t bought and had no cost to them. The worn bits and pieces they resold in cases reach 90% of the market new price; also, considering the same items are often available second-hand somewhere else on a median of half of what they are asking, in the fullness of time, will lead to lower trading and consequently poor recycling rate by items returned to waste because spurned by customers for their requested high price.

Outstanding service. I've lived in many British cities and this is far and away the best recycling service I have experienced. Great staff and great facilities.

This is my local recycling ♻️ centre so close to wear I live. They take most waste except KITCHEN waste. Ruble, soil and plasterboard are chargeable. Closes at 5pm everyday in the summer and earlier in the winter. Loads of workers were out today keeping the place tidy. The shop at the front has a few bargains. Workers were polite and helpful every time I visited.

It's a very good site, it's clean, organized and there is plenty of room and parking. The containers where you dump the rubbish are easily accessible.Besides the normal stuff you can also take tyres an oil (motor/cooking). And if your waste is good enough to be re-used, it's taken to the shop where of course you can also buy from. The staff are really helpful and the items are too heavy for a person on their own, they will help you carry it.For chargeable items, you can pay by card.
