A lovely, easy to locate venueExcellent customer service delivered by a lovely assistant who although young, was confident, efficient, professional and knowledgeable about what was on that day's menu.Lovely staff!Food was served in a timely manner and was of a very high standard and a reasonable price.I highly recommend this Caribbean takeaway.

Lovely meals all the way around, been in the UK for 3 years from Toronto Canada and I have missed my much loved Caribbean food, awesome to find Mama Luke’s so close to home. I was so excited I’m sorry to say I forgot to tip the lovely lady that delivered it. We will definitely order again. Yummy

Ordered a few chicken meals from here, one jerk, the other fried, with rice and peasThe level of customer service was good, very friendly and attentive. If the rating was based on this alone it would be 4.5 stars. (Mother and daughter I believe)Onto the food.The portion size for a large is bigger than most I've encountered.That being said the quality didn't quite match the size.Jerk Chicken Meal - the skin on the chicken was rubbery and wrinkly in places and not evenly seasoned, underneath the skin the chicken was a bit tasteless, the gravy was bland, but also wasn't asked for.The rice and peas was nice though.Fried Chicken Meal - the chicken looked very desirable from the outside, underneath the skin there were a few grey areas on the meat which isn't great to see (potentially days old), I was given the same bland gravy that was on the jerk Chicken Meal instead of what I wanted (BBQ)The gravy sat on, and underneath the fried chicken which made it a bit soggy.The main issue I have, is that it hadn't been reheated properly, when I took a few bites, the closer I got to the centre the colder it got, to the point I could feel near fridge temperature near the middle. I had to stop eating the meal and dispose of it.I'm unable to give a true review on taste as I didn't really get to taste it fully.I do hope that in the future all meals are reheated properly as this can be dangerous to someone's health if they consume it.

I have had to have MANY a lunches (and dinners) from here especially when working late and I have to say... love it. Clearly as I keep coming back for more. Staff are extremely polite and helpful. Service is pretty swift. Food is served piping hot and there's a great and tasty selection. Able to sit in or takeaway.Highly recommended ☝️

What a wonderful hidden gem of a Caribbean takeaway. The food is authentic, well cooked and great customer service. They were so good, I booked them to cater for my daughter’s 18th birthday and the food was the talk of the day. Well done. Keep it up!1

Food poisoning from here !Ordered on a Friday night.I had Stew chicken, mutton with steam veg and rice and peas. I also had a side of mac and cheese and 2 fried dumplinsThe mac and cheese was bassically pasta with cheese very disappointing.The steam veg was hard !The chicken had grisly bits in.The same night of eating the food I woke up out of my sleep with really bad belly ache (friday) I still had bad belly Saturday! My son then also vomited all through the night.I thought I was better but both me and my son are vomiting got diarrhea!Really upset ordered on Friday still sick and its Sunday night right before Christmas and I have not been able to go to work or nothing !

I love Mama Lue's their food is amazing! They always deliver the highest standard of Carribean food! I can honestly say this is the best Carribean takeaway in the Midlands for me! Their Jerk Chicken & Rum cake is my favourite!! ***
