Restoration Windows

Alan and his team did a fine job for us renovating hundred year old sash windows. The house is now much better insulated, because of Alan's good work sealing the draughts. This was not an easy task, and I remain grateful to Alan for taking it on, and I am very impressed by the result he achieved.His painter Davie also did a great deal of good re-painting the woodwork around the house, often at great heights - he is a good and brave man, and did a fine job here to not only protect the windows, but make the old house fine to look at once again.I worried that with the old windows and woodwork beginning to fall into disrepair, the house might become increasingly damp and draughty (it was already heading that way) - the minister who lived in this house before us told my old dad his family found living in a caravan more comfortable ! Alan's work has given our old home a huge lift, and I am very grateful.

Alan repaired our sash windows quickly and to a very high standard. As a result, our heating bill has came down too. A great service we would recommend to anyone!
