Barshaw Park was very nice and peaceful, it was plesent to sit in the Peace Garden which is at the top corner of the hill and chill out and then have a bite to eat in the Cafe to finish the day.

Disgusting counters, covered in dust, rude staff, overpriced, undercooked food. Tell you what next time I'm breaking up with a girlfriend ill bring her here and she'll get the message it's done without me having to say a word.

This place is a total rip off and food is not great. It's a shame really as if this was run properly without ripping people off it would be a gem of a place. Visted this park for many years and always go with a packed lunch for the kids. If anyone wants ice cream for the kids go to Iceland or one of the other shops on Glasgow road as you will not get ripped off.

Rude staff, overpriced, poor food. Closes at 6pm but won't serve food after 4pm because they want to go home early.Avoid like the plague.

Rude staff. Wouldnt let my 3 year old use the toilet even though the public toilets outside were locked. Eventually my daughter was allowed to use the toilet as long as my husband purchased something. Absolute disgrace. I understand there are procedures in place due to covid19, however it is ok to let these slip as long as a purchase has been made. My husband was reminded of these procedures by a member of staff who wasnt wearing a face covering correctly and no social distancing was being observed in the cafe area.

Surprisingly good food and drink (homemade soup, especially good), and lots of space for buggies, etc.The cleanliness of the floor in the eating area suffers rather from it being so family friendly, but the kitchen looks clean and it is good value for money. The opening hours are not terribly fixed - when we went in after five and asked when they shut they didn't know(!) and remained open after we were done.

Poor service, rude staff, overpriced for overcooked (but lukewarm at best) food.Update - if I could give negative stars I would. The frappé is completely tasteless and comes in 2 glasses?!
