Beautiful quiet beach, pastel coloured pebbles, with lots of rock pools and sand at low tide.

Lovely beach, sandy for most, as well as a good amount of rocks which provide shelter, a place to explore and the option to have a look in rock pools. There is some surf and was surfers around. Enough surf to have a good time! There's lots of crabs in and around the sea bed as well.

Fantastic little cove which doesn't seem to get to busy, cobbled when tides in but sandy when out. No facilities or shops and little parking.

I decided to take a quick dip in the sea. I'm not much of a swimmer, only really comfortable with doggy paddle, but I thought I'd go for it anyway. To my surprise, I found myself swimming much farther out than I had anticipated. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had been caught in a strong current that was carrying me further and further away from Wales. Before I knew it, I was standing on the shores of Ireland.I couldn't believe my eyes. I had never swum to Ireland before.I was exhausted but exhilarated, and I decided to celebrate my accomplishment with a pint of Guinness at the nearest pub.As I sat there, sipping my beer and watching the waves crash against the shore, I couldn't help but think about how far I had come.It was an amazing feeling, and, as I swam back, I knew that I would never forget my unexpected journey to Ireland.

Remote, quiet, and at the time I went, clear skies and stormy seas- just how I like it. The coastal path is stunning and worth a visit in safer times - we're so lovely to be locals here.

Very little parking but if you are lucky to get a space then this is a great isolated bay with rock pools and sand at low tide.

Isolated little bay, I'm not a beach person but this is a nice one if you're in to rocks and the cold Irish sea.
