Decided to get a take out Sunday's dinner from here for quickness with it being my only day off work,So booked for 2pm got there for 1:55 only to be sat around for till 2:35, 35 minutes waiting..! the waitress just said your next, he's doing yours next, and we've got a full house upstairs, so in other words, we're less important than guests who are sitting it, the dinner was nice tbh and would of got 5 stars review...! But i booked for 2pm and expected a dinner ready for then , even if it was 10 minutes wait i wouldn't of been bothered, but 35 minutes is absolutely taking the p*ss...!

We have not visited this place for too many years to remember. That will certainly change after todays visit. I enjoyed the football in the friendly bar during the afternoon. My wife and I returned in the early evening to eat a meal. The inviting upstairs dining room and the friendly staff made an immediate impression. The food, was all at a fair price and was outstanding, especially the fish and chips. We will return.

What a Sunday lunch, honest, true home cooked meal. All the different meats were cooked to perfection. Vegetables are cooked wonderfully, and there is a good selection of veg. Their gravy is second to none. It's a must do for Sundays.

Four of us had a a fantastic tapas meal. The food was lovely and of great quality, served very quickly. The atmosphere in the pub was great too, thanks for a great night
