Great venue inside well decorated very popular

As a hobbyist event organiser I was absolutely appalled at the state of this venue.Firstly it’s on a street where, a fire engine, ambulance service could not get down the street due to parking on both sides .Hence it does not have parking.I walked into the venue and immediately felt claustrophobic, chairs were literally back to back, no aisle space, again in any emergency eventuality this is a huge danger.This venue is suppose to be a child friendly and welcoming venue.There are no facilities for babies, sanitary conditions, or is DDA compliant, which I am relieved to say we did not have a real fire!It was a lovely hot day for our celebration. The air conditioning was turned off .After more than numerous calls we still had no joy, instead of being cool in the venue we had to depart very quickly after the false fire alarm went off for approximately 40 minutes.At this point there is till no point of contact at the venue.The venue was booked for a small ceremony and a dance party, no dance floor was to be seen. Again no point of contact.Lastly the toilets. No hand soap, no toilet tissue, only one work toilet, whilst the toilet had a door hanging off. It had drainage issues and the stench was deathly.There is more, however far too much to write. The photos on Google are pre-Covid!The place is a death trap, not suitable for any human, I would steer away from booking this venue !I couldn’t find a minus star rating!

Good venue and spacious. Fixings/stair carpet need renovations but venue had some character. Parking may be a problem and would need to rely on parking along road.

Worst hall you could book don’t do it save yourself the stress and hassle! Definitely not worth it! They’ll take your money happily then give you rubbish service.

I hosted the Red Carpet for Destalker Live in Leicester and I absolutely fell in love with The Spinney. It is such a simple place yet so beautiful. I'm glad the event was held there and it was a beautiful night indeed.

Lovely venue, look normal from outside soon as u get inside it is really nice , love the balcony view

Honestly not a nice place at all - the toilet is disgusting and there is only 1 - the floors are battered everything is dated and I would not recommend at all unfortunately.
