Trafford Golf Centre

I recently visited American Golf-Trafford and had an absolutely fantastic experience. This is only for the golf range facility.Ive been there now 3-4 times at least and there are a few things.Car spaces are available and free, the pricing for the range varies on time of day (peak/off peak) and obviously how many balls you want.The actual range is nice and has 2 levels. They have a good ball tracking system and the synthetic grass is quite well kept. There are 2-3 spots for left handed golfers too.Now the worst thing about this place is how busy it is. On average I waited 20-25 mins before getting in (I do go around peak times). The staff do try and get golfers in quicker…It’s not the quietest rang I’ve ever been to, as there are often large groups of people just enjoying themselves( which is kinda nice sometimes- making golf accessible to everyone).3/5 is harsh but compared to a “traditional” golf range it’s just a bit below par.

put as a 1 * purely because now they charge £3 per spectator in peak times said its to control how many ppl are using 1 bay, its as simple as asking that question to the patrons when they approach the main desk and saying they have a limit of how many ppl per bay it's got nothing numbers of ppl its just another way to make money, in my opinion its a joke.

Mini golf was amazing, little one loved getting a hole in one and “beating” me. All in all a great place to visit. Could stagger the times a little more (they already do) as at times felt a little rushed due to the group behind us, but would still recommend to all.

Took the grandchildren 6 and 11 they lived it and so did we, and at £28 for a family 2+2 it was good value and if not busy you could get a second game half price if not busy. Good few hours out.

Quality golf driving range. £13 for 120 balls. Automated ball tee. Food and drink available, including alcohol.

I started using this range when it first opened. I hadn't been there for years and decided to dust off the clubs. At first I was disappointed to see the standard 100 balls had been cut to 80. However, when I realised they had tracer software, my mind was blown. Great experience that made me fall back in love with golf again. I'm going again tomorrow and I'll be sure to take up their offer of 80 balls and a coffee for a quid.
