Belmont Estate

My kids attended the Be Wild sessions in the school holidays, and this is a review from my eldest ‘I liked the pigs and the river. It was fun watching all of the popcorn pop and being able to light fires. I loved it and I really want to go again’ and from the youngest ‘it’s loads of fun and I want to live there in the woods with the pigs’.It’s great to have these sessions available on our doorstep and hopefully the kids will be back for another session in the next school holidays. I would highly recommend these guys.

I came to a family day at watercress farm with my children aged 5 and 2. Both loved meeting the animals (pigs and cows), learning about local wildlife, meeting new friends and cooking around the campfire. The guides were engaging and kids loved them. This is a unique project doing great work in the North Somerset countryside and is worth visiting and supporting.

Grief Encounter South West had an amazing day on the BE WILD nature experience with Belmont Estate. The children attending loved meeting the animals, playing in the woods and toasting marshmallows. Staff were friendly, considerate, patient and informative. We will definitely be re-booking again

My cared for toddlers and I have spent many a morning enjoying muddy puddles, encounters with the cows, pigs and ponies and walks around this rewilding watercress farm. Thank you Anna and Nick for providing such a warm welcome, sharing your knowledge and making these groups so special for the young children ( and their adults) that come.

We had an awesome day at the foraging and feasting event. With some good bushcraft lessons. Great staff who couldnt be more helpfull. The food cooked over an open fire was amazing. Well done Henry and the team.

A heartfelt thank you for providing our young people with an unforgettable experience!NB - Break Free is a holiday activity programme that targets holiday hunger by providing high quality activities and free food for children aged eight – 13 from areas across the most need in South Bristol. With one third of children in Bristol living in poverty it confronts what has sadly become one of the biggest social issues in modern society in the UK – with many parents of children on free school meals struggling to provide for them during the holiday period.

A fine example of how Estate farming can be educational, accessible and sustainable. Henry and the team have been very welcoming!

Being new to this Wood Burning Stove malarkey we tried Belmont wood because it is sustainably harvested, which we like.It is excellent quality wood, dry, good size, burns quite hot. I'll use them again next time we need more wood.

We love coming to the toddler mornings. Everyone is so friendly. We always leave happy, having learnt and seen loads of new things.

We had a brilliant Rewilding session at the Belmont Estate. Nic and Anna were amazing and both my boys had a fantastic time. Really hope we can book to come along to another session soon.
