Q L Discos

Chris from QL Discos was the DJ and kids entertainer for my kids double birthday party yesterday, and he did a fabulous job! Arrived in plenty of time to set up and start the party at the right time, friendly and easygoing fellow that was happy to take requests from the kids and got everyone up and dancing and playing party games. We were a bit worried about how the disco would work with so many children varying from the age of 3 to 11, but he managed to find tunes and games to bring everyone together. Thanks Chris!

Kindly started later as we were delayed. Music was good and got everyone dancing at certain points. Announcements could have been more enthusiastic so everyone joined in.

We were recommended Chris at QL Discos by our incredible wedding planner, Amy Thorne of Amaranthyne Weddings, and what a brilliant recommendation it was! Chris was so easy going when we were coordinating by email with our requests. And even though my husband and I were emailing him separately with secret music requests for each other (haha!) he kept all under wraps and delivered perfectly on the day!! He was conscientious when setting up, and nothing phased him at all, even when our guests were distracted by our fire pit and s’mores outside the marquee, his music kept everyone in a joyful mood and he waited for us to come back before playing more of our favourite songs. We requested to have the music at a level where people could still hear each other when talking, but also dance, and he absolutely nailed it! No ringing in the ears afterwards!! Only hundreds of joy-filled memories created on the dancefloor and around. THANK YOU CHRIS! You absolutely rock! (Pun 100% intended!)

We have used Chris twice now for each of our Daughters birthday parties and would highly recommend him. Once the party starts he takes over and keeps the kids entertained for the full 2 hours; playing games and keeping the kids dancing. Punctual and reasonable priced plus a nice, friendly chap!

Fantastic Disco for our wedding, Ryan was superb on the evening, played all the requests our guests made, kept the dancefloor busy all night, would highly recommend. Thank you.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!Recently hired QL Entertainment / QL Discos to DJ at my wedding.We where originally due to have Chris DJ for us, but due to other commitments we where substituted Gary.Prior to the wedding, we had to give the DJ a list of songs/artists etc we'd like played at the reception. aside from our first dance and father/daughter dance, the DJ played exactly 0 of these songs. All of the songs where chart hits (Rhianna, Katy Perry etc etc) so should be in every DJs repertoire - evidently not!Requests where not been taken for the most part, because of internet and equipment issues.Surely every DJ has hard drives full of songs these days and shouldn't be relying on the internet to acquire popular chart tracks.During the night, the DJ missed mixes between songs, leaving the dance floor with 2-3 seconds of silence while he scrambled to play the next track. He also felt the need to increase and decrease the tempo of songs mid song, I guess he's got Ibiza dreams but got stuck on the wedding circuit?And finally, the worst of all.He donned a creepy Halloween mask during his set, upsetting several of our guests, then proceeded to dance around the dance floor and force himself on two 12 year old girls, before being pulled away by the mother of the bride.His excuse? They where enticing and inviting him to dance and later claiming the lighting was too low in the room to see they where minors.If he thinks 12 year old girls are leading him on AND acts on this, I worry about the fact that QL discos are offering there services to school discos...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
