Came on the weekend on a Wowcher deal, had the best time ever with my partner. All food and drinks were really nice, will be returning. Was really saddened though that the staff were abused by an influencer" I think called Roxanne Garbett. It was disgusting how they behaved towards the staff. Not only were they late

I am appalled at the staff publicly attacking a paying customer and stigmatising her by her occupation.The food and service was terrible, my friend was unable to use the toilet for her pregnant sister.The bottomless brunch which was paid up front was not bottomless after a 1 star review was made.Very unprofessional business.

Popped in for a coffee but after seeing all the amazing food, I stopped for lunch, fab food and great staff…Will definitely be back soon, would love to try the Bottomless Brunch!!

Went here recently to try out a cake. I purchased a Choc cake slice to takeout. When I got home I discovered there was some sort of topping sprinkled on it. Looked like dried up flowers. They had stuck to icing so were hard to remove. Overall taste was ruined. The cake was also very dry and stale. The icing was ok but very sweet. Staff seemed friendly. It was very over priced for what it was. Unfortunately I would not go again unless they change the products or make prices more competitive.

Forget Karen’s diner in the bull ring… here you will get the manager abuse you and throw you out! who ever owns this business - Replace your management staff with people who know how to treat people.1993 cakery aka rogue traders you have been reported to trading standards - you cannot take someone’s money and refuse to deliver the service/item and not offer what you sold. Trading Standards are investigating your poor service and your scams ! How do you live with yourself knowing you are a ripping people off?Be aware: When you complain to the manager at the shop she will verbally attack you, refuse your booking and not refund you. The manager is unfriendly, scary, rude and aggressive. She shows no customer service skills and is not interested in providing a decent service. She has even threaten us with the police when she’s the one who kicked us out when we complained and won’t refund us our money! what an absolute shamble !Avoid avoid avoidVery unprofessional business.

I haven’t been here and I don’t plan on it either after Iv seen you publicly slagging of a customer all over social media! It is disgusting!! Your service is appalling how you can’t even let a pregnant lady use the toilet!! Then you threaten my friend with the police for leaving you a bad review! And slander her on google pretending to be a customer! Appalling!! If that is how you treat customers you are in the wrong trade! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

This company steal your money, then accuse you of being abusive when you dare to contact them to ask for your money back!Booked a group deal, a feast for two. Cost me £50. Booking made via email, however they ask for the Groupon voucher at time of making reservation, they then mark the voucher as redeemed so Groupon think you have had your goods.However, when I turned up in the 12th August as booked the “restaurant “ looked nothing like advertised- not even any toilets I noticed! It looked more like a office.There was one woman inside who looked very surprised to see us, stating they had no bookings that day due to catering for a wedding.I told her I did have a booking, but by this time tbh I didn’t want to have a meal in such a cold room which lacked atmosphere and had no facilities. She again argued that I didn’t, at which point I showed her my confirmation email from herself! She then charged her tune stating Groupon had messed up, even though the emails where from her. She swore she would contact Groupon and arrange for my money to be returned, but that never happened.I’ve now been in a three week battle with groupon and this thief trying to get my money back. However Groupon say they can’t return my money as the thief has not confirmed I have not had a meal!When I emailed this woman she replied stating she doesn’t tolerate bullying and will not communicate anymore. My bullying was a email asking her to inform Groupon she had not provided me with any food.She has stolen my money and if you look on Groupon or trip advisor you will also see others stating the same.Legal action for fraud needs taking against this company

Avoid this place!!! I went for afternoon tea with my sister an all I can say is vile!! The bread was stale and hard, the cakes were the same stale and hard, and the customer service was beyond disappointing. Rude staff, and no toilets even tho I’m heavily pregnant, I was told they don’t have toilets in the restaurant and wouldn’t allow me to use the other toilet, even tho I explained I’m 6months pregnant an can’t hold it was still told no.They put “edible” flowers in my drink which tastes like grass, an no cream for the scones. This is the worst place I’ve ever had afternoon tea, and will not be returning! It was a Saturday afternoon an the place was completely empty, (Makes sense now) an while we was finishing our drinks and talking the woman with no experience rudely interrupted us, telling us to leave cus our time was up as it was a Wowcher deal. We explained we’re still drinking our drinks, an will leave when we’re done. She insisted we leave right now, this was the same member of staff that couldn’t work the coffee machine, an couldn’t give me any answers to any questions I was asking regarding our booking. Completely awful experience. Awful food and awful customer service. Avoid at all costs, u will be highly disappointed!!

Excellent food, fantastic friendly service. Atmosphere a little lacking, only because they were in temporary premises at the time of our visit. Will definitely visit again in the New Year when they open their new premises.

To be told by a new member of staff of we wasn't expecting you 'I'm new' we haven't got anything in no bread or anything to give you?!The buisnsss has appuling customer service if that's what you can call it! Not to mention the extremly poor management you are paying for a service you will not receive! Was asked to leave whilst being threaten for police to be called as I was told I was 'trespassing' after turning up to a booking I had booked paid and confirmed! More like we should be telling the police this is fraud and a scam.After stating I wanted a full refund before I leave and not a reschedule I was told this is not possible we have no cash on site, we had a wedding booking, the main bakery is now closed you will have to get this through Groupon - who will not refund you as this scam business has already redeemed the voucher and confirmed the booking several weeks ago.Waste of a whole day off work, weeks planning in advance for a girls afternoon tea catch up to be left with no service, no afternoon tea, no compensation and no refund.This place is a absolute joke have reported them trading standards and Groupon they should not be promoting this type of buisnsssList of endless lies told:-We don't have money to refund you InstoreWe had to close after a weddingThe building was floodedWe told Groupon to send mass email to cancelWe didn't know you was comingI'm coming to refund you in cash then later said noSpoke to 3 members of staff all with various liesAll could have been avoided by a simple message to cancel!
