Templeton Woodland Walk

Fantastic wee walking area, and although reasonably busy, mostly you'll hardly see anyone else. Host a lot of wildlife, including both Roe and Sitka deer, Red and Grey Squirrels, lots of different types of birds, and much more besides. Also has a ranger station by carpark with reasonably good disable toilet, and a safe area for camp fires, and benches and the metal type permanent bbq's.

Lovely woods for a walk and there are decent mountain bike trails here as well. Would like to return to give them a try! Saw some deer too. Unfortunately there is a lot of rubbish at the layby entrance to the woods with everyone stopping to have their takeaways and throwing everything out the window :(
