This bike is dangerous because the rim is defective and cuts the tyre.Look closely at the pictures.Evans are in a cover-up with trek.My tyre exploded. I could have been killed. Others may be in danger.

My chain broke as I was cycling in Canterbury. Evans were able to mend my chain on the spot and gave me advice about important bike maintenance that needed doing . Really impressed with the workmanship, customer service and speed at which this was done. Thank you very much, if this is the standard and quality in all of your shops I will definitely be back.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received today. I hope the owners read these reviews because the guy who helped me today won you my custom. I will choose Evans over Halfords from now. I only ended up buying a bottle holder but he kindly fitted it without being asked and he was a real credit to Evans cycles.

This place is probably the best cycle shop I've been too.....Great advice from people who obviously know bikes......honestly could not have done anymore to help us, even to the extent of shortening the handle bars by sawing the ends off to improve the sitting position on the bike selected, these assistants know their stuff for sure, a decent selection of bikes on display at decent prices with some heavily discounted....

I actually am so grateful for the service I recieved from Evans Cycles. The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable and cared about helping me find a bike that suited my needs. He even ordered the bike in for me, I can't wait for it to be ready for me to pick it up!

The team in shop are awesome and willing to help.Sadly, the service from Evans cycles as a company is lacking. I have had a cannon-dale trail bike in for a warranty repair for over a month due to the manufacturer fitting the wrong parts.The deconfliction between the senior management team and their suppliers seems non existent.I have asked for a refund but no one with authority is in although the rest of the team is in.I have now reported the issue to trading standards.Please avoid if you would like any sort of after care service from any one outside the shop floor.

Great staff good selection of bikes in store. I got one of their own brand pinicle bikes and it has been great.Unfortunately a month after purchase my chain broke mid ride! I took my bike down to Evans and originally they where trying to charge me for the new chain. But I managed to get it for free after having a chat with the engineer. Most likely a manufacturing faultOther then that it was a great service

I got a puncture on the way to an event on a Sunday afternoon. I walked to this Evans Cycles to get a puncture repair kit and withdrew myself to the fact that I would spend the rest of the afternoon wrestling with my bike.The Evans Cycles team on duty that day were amazing! Like superheroes without breaking sweat replaced the inner-tube, re calibrated my brakes, gave me some tips on maintenance.Top professionals! Thank you.
