The service from this delivery office is absolutely dire.Two weeks between deliveries. Letters arrive 3 weeks late (including those sent 1st class). It has been like this for months.No explanation.No apologies.No accountability.No service.When you try to call you are put on hold for 25 mins and then takes you straight to the survey where you can tell them how well they have handled your call.When you do eventually get through you can’t speak to anyone at the delivery office. They said they would log a complaint which would go to the delivery office manager and I’d get a response within 72 hours. That was 3 weeks ago and am still waiting!

Absolutely ridiculous opening hours since early July. If I can’t take in a package because I’m at work, then how do they expect me to be able to pick it up if there are no times it’s open when I’m not still at work? Never known a sorting office not to have at least one day where it’s open at least a little later than usual.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. I always drop off my online paid for postage orders here and it’s quick and simple. The only downside is parking is a complete nightmare so I usually walk over from Sainsburys or do it when I’m out and about in Wakefield.

I would like to know why we in WF2 are only getting 1 or 2 letter deliveries a week. Hardly ever see the postman these days, but a neighbour was told due to increased rounds letter mail is taken back. Only things getting delivered are tracked parcels & not all those are on time. Not blaming posties but something needs to be done, how about management & office staff get on the road to help out til they get new staff. Not seen any letter mail being delivered this week so far.

Closing at 12 on a Monday is insanity, businesses not even allowed to drop mail round the back anymore.In reply to the below, yes the postie's are great and always incredibly helpful and friendly. The postie's do a great job. Management needs to improve.

I arrange the collection on.Wednesday, 20 September 2023 for the Thursday, 21 September 2023 estimated between 07:49 am 11:49 am I woke up at 6:30 am to make sure that I would not miss the collection and no one even turned up absolutely ridiculous if I get charged for my sky equipment not being returned I will be billing Royal Mail I will not be paying it be you Royal Mail I am going to stop using Royal Mail they are getting lazy and absolutely ridiculous.
