Sandend Holidays

We are regular visitors to the caravan site, have been for over 20 years. Ideal location and vibe for a chill out and recharge. Site owners are lovely, friendly and there when you need them but happy to leave you to get on with your thing. Along with the water sports and beach time there is also some fantastic cycling to be had on the quiet, local roads.

Booked a last minute campervan stay here on 4th Sep 2023. Was welcomed and shown around by the owner who got us an absolutely stunning spot looking straight out at the beach. Sally the owner gave us a loan of a couple body boards of her own which was lovely as we weren't prepared for such nice weather! She also gave us a hook up extension to borrow as our lead wasn't long enough.The facilities were perfect - all clean and working. Instant hot water. Plenty of taps dotted around. Washing up liquid and cloths etc. provided. The shower cubicles have a proper changing room which is quite rare these days - they're often nothing more than a shower behind a door which has nowhere to put any of your stuff for changing. These were spacious with a stool and plenty of hooks to hang your things.Woke up in the morning and instantly booked a second night! Didn't want to leave, and only did because we had to get back to work!Lovely little site, will definitely be back here again.

Stunning location for camping and exploring this gorgeous coastline. This is my favourite campsite. Owners are wonderful, warm friendly attentive. If you like the sea sand beach coasts walks peace sunrise sun set can’t recommend this place enough.

We had 2 nights stay at this cracking site. We were shown to our pitch which was right in the corner n loads of room for my 2 dogs. There was only a low fence between my motorhome and the beach with fantastic views. Toilets n showers bit dated but superbly clean & cleaned every day. Brilliant

We hugely enjoyed our stay. Fantastic location enhanced by friendly welcome and spotlessly clean facilities. Three members of staff took the time to advise us, successfully, on how to improve our tent pitch in high winds, despite being busy. Our party of two adults and two teens is very keen to return.

Just back from the best 10 days holiday ever.Site location is fantastic.Pitch we had was nice and flat and easy to access.Slight downside was having to get used to the 10A supply to the caravan, no toaster and kettle on at the same time!Weather played a big part of the experience but the site owners certainly added to it.Any questions asked were answered.Will definitely be back.

Drove there in our motorhome. First trip out and a great first choice of site.Right on a lovely beach. Good for surfing.The site lady was very helpful, loaning us an extension cable for the electric hook up.Clean site, showers and loos.Will definitely revisit

Great campsite with easy access to a lovely beach. Site staff are all helpful and friendly. The facilities very clean, although a bit dated. Great shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Sandend is a gem on the North East Coast. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely brilliant! Our first stay at this site and we will definitely be back. Great facilities, very clean and lots of wee extras add that special touch. Toiletries provided in the ladies, eco liquid and cloths in the wash rooms for all to use. The site itself was kept beautifully and the beach, which is a real haven, is literally on the site doorstep. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and was super helpful. Loved it, hubs loved it, and kids loved it. Highly recommend.
