Beautiful views from our wonderfully cosy shepherds hut. Everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Hot tub, firepit, log burner, under floor heating large, comfortable bed and all in a lovely, scenic location. Anne was very welcoming, made sure we were settled and knew how everything worked. Would definitely recommend a stay!

We had a wonderful stay in the Herdsman Hut. Extremely comfortable and clean. We could not fault our stay, ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. Would highly recommend to anyone and would not hesitate returning in the future.

Fantastic place to get away from it all. All you can hear is birdsong and the river. Relax and enjoy.

Had a great stay in the Herdmans hut, very relaxing stay, great hot tub, had a BBQ on first night and it’s about a 10 minute walk through the fields to a nice local put, bed was super comfy, all very clean, nice friendly welcome from Anne, would recommend

We stayed in the Herdsman Hut for 3 nights for my birthday and everything was absolutely perfect, lovely sunny crisp days spent on the verandah gazing at the scenery with blankets to keep out the chill, evenings outside with a fire and of course we made great use of the hot tub which was heavenly made even more romantic by the soft twinkly lighting.The hut was situated very privately and fitted out beautifully, thoughtfully presented with everything you could think of. I loved the decor, big soft luxury cushions and fluffy blankets, towels and robes, even flip flops to wear outside. A really comfortable bed and sofa, with a log burner and underfloor heating that kept us warm and toasty, we could have easily stayed all week.Anne has created a very special place, that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, it was perfect in every way and without a doubt we will be returning

Our 4th visit here but first stay in the Herdsman Hut and absolutely loved it. The outdoor shelter was a fabulous feature and we were able to make use of the the barbecue and fire pit despite the unsettled weather. Great shower, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and relaxing hot tub all contributed to a peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable stay.As always we received a warm welcome from Anne.Will we return for a 5th visit?Absolutely!!!
