Vets4Pets - Mansfield

First time using this Mansfield vets for pets, and for the saddest of reasons, our 15 year old dog was euthanized after a long illness. The staff, vet nurse and vet were extremely compassionate, talked us through the procedure, held my hand and stroked my dog as she drifted off to sleep. I can't thank them enough for the kindness they've shown not only to my dog, but to us the owners too. Although our hearts are breaking, I knew we'd made the right decision at the right time and was totally supported by all the staff. Thank you so much for your wonderful respect and care, it meant a great deal to us all xxx

Vets for pets are really nice vets to go to. They're very friendly, helpful, but professional, and nothing is too much trouble. I've used them for years and would definitely recommend them to others

Really helpful staff, pretty normal get experience. I've been with vets4pets for over 5 years now in different locations and stuck with their pet plans as great value for money and reminds me to defea, vaccinate and treat my cat.Wheelchair accessible and good parking for a small practice. Receptions have always been friendly and welcoming.My cat would give this place 1 star if she could.

Really nice staff, we didn’t have to wait long to be seen to for a check up for our dog. The staff were really professional and were great to our dog whilst we were there. Thank you

Really lovely staff. They’ve been our vet for a year now since we moved to the area. I have found them to be well-balanced in regard to dealing with kidney disease in a senior cat, talking about treatment but also understanding about quality of life vs. quantity.Sadly our 18yo cat went downhill quickly recently on a Saturday night, and when I rang the vet on Sunday morning, the staff on duty were very helpful and accommodated us to help end her suffering and send her on her way to join David Bowie and Prince sitting on a cloud. They were really patient and sensitive and I’m so grateful for everything they did for us on that awful morning. I’m really grateful we could be seen to before things got ugly and traumatic for my children to witness. I can highly recommend them!

The vets cure my pets Anal Glands issue with the small surgery in 2021. fair price but my car was really happy after that. Regular go there for checking. The staff and doctors are friendly. Really appreciated with their service.

We're brilliant easing my fears when I brought my dog in. Looked after her so well. Always keeping me in the loop of what was happening. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Do not use Vets for Pets or their monthly charge of £15 for your pet plan. They took two direct debits from my account without permission then charge you when you cancel them after they left me in a unarranged overdraft. Poor service

Today we said goodbye to our dog, the staff made it so much easier with the care and support they shown us!Not a bad word to be said about them ever!

In the past month I have visited quite a few times with my dog as I had found a mammary lump on her. The whole process from our first phonecall, our appointments, the surgery and post op appointments cannot be faulted. Every member of staff I came in to contact with were kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. They explained everything and had the time to answer any questions I had. At one point I was concerned about something with my dog's wound but they promptly saw us and dealt with the issue. It has been a very difficult time for me but I thank you all for taking care of my dog and making it as easy as it could be. I also found great reassurance in the fact my dog was excited to visit them every single time!I have to add that when I was deciding whether to use Vets For Pets, I read the online reviews and came across a negative one about one of the receptionists, Carol. I was a little unsure whether to proceed but after reading other reviews I decided that I would go here. I feel that I made the right decision. I understand that everyone has their own experiences so I'm not saying that what the person wrote was untrue, but I feel it's only fair to mention my experience with Carol. She was the first person from Vets For Pets that we spoke to and she was very kind and professional. I also dealt with her on most of my visits and she was always pleasant and helpful. I personally thought she was really nice, caring and had a good sense of humour at the appropriate times.Again, thank you to everyone at Vets For Pets, I truly appreciate your service to us.
