Edinburgh Airport Mid Stay Car Park

What a messy place, parking is a total mess and driving to find an appropriate bay is like a maze of fencing, gates and barriers. The whole place looks an unlikely mess and is so confusing. As for price that is stupid, £9 for half an hour a rip off. Inside the buildings is a total confusion with every process electronic rather than person to person. Then when you leave in your car exit is again electronic and in my case didn't work so I had to find an alternative electronic machine. Again person to person would have been much more user friendly. I vowed that I would never go to or use Edinburgh Airport again.

Could be closer to the airport and the signs should be more direct and clear. Otherwise good option , if you need free parking though for 30mins take the long term parking 2nd a away or if you need to stay longer that works out better.

Car registration readers at barrier unreliable. On exiting car park, I was forced to pay £150 despite having prepaid for parking. No one answered the operator button and queue of traffic boxed me in, so no option other than to pay. Had to complete online form in order to get refund processed, customer service team were unwilling to offer a future discount for the inconvenience despite being a regular user of their car parks. Would recommend looking at alternatives parking options not provided by Edinburgh Airport.

It's not that close to terminal as they advertise. It also charged me for £12 but I returned in 29 minutes so it should be £9.

The airport itself seems to be in a state of change (and chaos) every time I've gone there for the last 10 years (and getting worse!).Parking, as many have said, is outlandishly overpriced for the service its supposed to give. Each time I return it seems they've changed the layout to get from A to B.Staff are hit and miss with regards to being helpful. If trying to catch a plane is stressful then being ignored or treated like they are doing you a favour in doing their job just adds to this.@Edinburgh Airport: go to other international airports and learn or face irrate customers and decreased funding from parking. Also, train ALL staff in customer service"... as YOU are providing a service.That said

Easy access drop of point, close to the airport entrance for the cost of £4.00 if you don't hang about.

The mid/long stay car parks are a disgrace, especially for the amount charged. Edinburgh airport management should hang their heads in shame at the state of the car parks at the capital of Scotland's major airport. Very poorly laid out, no logic to get around it, no way to easily find a space except driving around a poorly planned maze with cars just abandoned illegally" on double yellow lines everywhere that are blocking through roads and junctions. STILL no bus service to/from the terminal and very few baggage trolleys/trolley bays so you're forced to drag your bags across pothole ridden poor condition surfaces which ruins the wheels on your suitcase. No dedicated pedestrian walkways until you get to the taxi rank

I thought the pricing for the long stay was ok but getting to and from the airport is a bit of a guessing game. No bus, so it’s a walk to the airport, which isn’t an issue if you factor it into your timings but the lack of signs to point you in the right direction either to or from the airport is a real issue.
