Halfords Autocentre Nuneaton

Absolutely fantastic experience. Had a date for having work done on my vehicle, but, due to unforeseen circumstances, was unable to drop my car off on the day of the appointment. The staff were really friendly, considerate and accommodating in rescheduling my appointment. Work carried out to an excellent standard including photographic and video evidence throughout. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

I had a brake check with Halfords, they told me my Drums were completely dangerous and I needed them doing straight away, I booked them and paid for both drums to be done (of course both must be done at the same time) after I left I still had the metal scraping sound of my old brakes, I went somewhere for a second opinion and quite obviously found only one drum was changed, I tried to get in touch with Halfords head office with absolutely no reply as the car had left they said there was nothing they could do as they don’t know what I have done to the car since it hasn’t been with them… please see the photo of the pin that came from the supposedly brand new drum they had fitted. I have waited awhile to leave the review incase I did get anywhere with head office but they most defiantly do not want to know.

Booked a free suspension check as I had a rattle which I thought might be a spring and it was bottoming (I thought) on speed bumps which it never had. Turns out the cover protecting the exhaust had worked loose and was flapping and this was catching the speed bumps. Fixed it and returned the car to me with no charge! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better service. Thoroughly recommend them.

I have been loyal to Halfords for many years now. Am really disappointed with my last experience. Took my car for break pads and disks. Now it’s the the third time I have taken it back within 3weeks as the breaks keep squeaking.staff have told me to expect squeaking with breaks. Last week when I took the job and was promised that it would be done whilst I wait. My car was not eve booked in. After 2 hrs in the cold, I called to be told , it wouldn’t be done until after lunchtime. The gentleman then understood that I was waiting around as promised, then it was done within 1 hr.Today, I have taken it for the same problem, unfortunately the member of staff was not very pleasant as he was on the phone on Friday. I swallowed my pride and left my car. Usually, Halfords will call and notify when the car is ready. Now it’s 16.08, no communication. Neither have I had an apology for the same job being done 3times in 3weeks.

Went to have my headlights aligned waited 4 hours for them to look at my car for them to say they cannot align my headlights because its impossible to get to the adjustment bolts without taking the front bumper off, took to a different mechanic did it in 10 minutes with no problem. Rubbish service definitely will not use ever again.

Had my car MOT and a mini service and was very impressed by the service offered. It was simple yet comprehensive and gave me an all-round and very positive experience. Will definitely use them next year too.
