The Queens Head
Nice stop on our walk around Wokingham, sat outside in the sunshine. Spotted the nice quiet beer garden at the rear on way to toilet . Hand dryer in the gents is not working. Lady behind the bar was polite and cheerful.

Great atmosphere in a very traditional setting.The choice of high quality ales is excellent.Very friendly service too.The seating area outside at the front of the pub is lovely and you feel the warmth reflecting off the bricks of the wall in the evening after a sunny day.The garden with outside seating at the back is really nice and relaxing.

Really lovely old fashioned boozer on a terrace. It's clearly well loved by locals. There isn't a huge selection of wine but a brilliant selection of ales.

Pretty old-skool pub, quite small and mostly taken up by the bar (and it gets even smaller when people are throwing darts!). It has a community" feeling and sometimes a roaring fire in the winter. Tourists will appreciate the Tudor look and feel

We visited The Queens Head last sunday 20th Nov. Its a dog friendly pub with an open fire at this time of year. When we arrived we were greeted by Simon behind the bar. A real fountain of knowledge about the area, the ales available and made our dog Libby welcome too with a dental stick dog chew. The seating at the front of the pub, I'm told is great on a summers evening as the sun goes down. Simon also showed us the beer garden at the real, also looked like a great area. The pub has a lot of history and keeps it's charm as a traditional pub serving great beers/ales without the distraction of food. I hope our move to the area goes through and we can visit more often.

By far the best pub in Wokingham. Beautiful pub. Great choice of glassware. And the proprietors are a delight. Thank you for having us.

Great bar with its own beer. Decent beer garden to the rear and seating out the front as well
