I used to be a regular user of 1AB for many years with no issue. However, after not using for several years i booked 3 days of school runs for 8am to take my 11 year old from Cockerton to Hummersknott. First day when it got to 8.15am i called and they said ‘5 minutes away’ .... i informed the operator this would make my child later and she would get a black mark accordingly. i cancelled and my neighbour took her in.Second day it got to 8.10am and i called.....’We are trying to locate a driver.....” cancelled again. also the third booking was cancelled befire it started..!

Booked for a remote wedding and prepaid as requested but no taxi arrived. When we first chased they said they were 10 mins away, 30 mins later they were 14 mins away and then when we chased again they were still 28 miles away. Then they passed our job onto another firm but gave them the wrong postcode so they ended up in the wrong place. Absolute bunch of jokers. No apology whatsoever. Happy to take the money but don’t think they ever had the capacity for the booking

At your company's website's suggestion, I downloaded your app early this morning and booked a taxi to collect myself, partner and dog many hours later. Understanding that a number of drivers in the area won't allow dogs in their cars for various reasons, I was explicit in the notes section that there would be a dog on a lead. When the driver turned up he immediately refused the booking and claimed no knowledge of the notes I had left. He then claimed to have called your company to request another taxi to collect us in the next two minutes".After 5 minutes I called the office

Unfortunately if I could leave 0 stars I would. Please, please don't book this company if you need to be picked up on time! Every time I have pre-booked in the last year the taxi has been at least 10 minutes, sometimes closer to 45 minutes late.Halloween night I arranged a taxi 2 hrs in advance to get home from work and was left outside in the cold, wet and dark for nearly half an hour. As a female alone, during that time I was harassed by two separate groups of men!Why is this acceptable in this day and age! Why even accept the pre-booking if it's obvious there aren't enough drivers to take it? The only time I still use this company is when I have absolutely no other option. This is just dangerous.

Ordered for 5.35 for a train at 6, I was informed at 5.35 that the driver was 14 minutes away, with a 10 minute ride. Just as well I had a back-up. Cancelled the booking. PS Am removing the app from my phone.....

Diabolical since it’s changed hands. Ruined 3 planned nights for us now. They lie to you saying one is on its way but it never arrives. Lost bookings through this company after pre booking in ample time. DO NOT USE!

Terrible terrible taxi company. This taxi was booked for us by our holiday company who have an account and confirmed it by phone for a 17.10 pick up at lunchtime the same day.We were dropped at Sunderland on time about 30 miles from our destination and there was no taxi. Three times they told us a taxi was on its way; the first was 26 minutes away but didnt show up, then the second was just dropping a passenger off" and would be with us in 10 minutes and the third was diverted from a job and was 30 minutes away so we would just have to wait. The driver finally turned up one hour and 15 minutes late

Overall good. But last time I used it I paid via the app. At the end of the route the driver did charge me twice. 15£ in total to get in town for 1 mile route. Still waiting for my refund. Every-time I ring the ask me to ring the day after.

Unfortunately a company that used to be fantastic seams to have gone to the wall. Never turn up on time, and we nearly missed our train as they were so late, despite booking the taxi for 45 minutes before our train left. Only saving grace was the train was running late too.Last time we booked we cancelled it after being 25 minutes late, and still not even a driver assigned.Seams the problems started since the introduction of the app.

Spoke to control said we were on our way out of Darlington Hipperdrome and he said let driver know. We spoke.to driver and no contact from control was.made and driver was given.
